Bring your family and friends to experience the ever-changing four seasons the Georgia Mountains have to offer. Helen's Bavarian hospitality offers charming specialty shops, unique artisans and craftsman, local wineries and spectacular waterfalls all within a short walk or drive.

During our warmer months unwind with a tube ride down the river or splash an afternoon away at the nearby waterpark. If golf is on the agenda, an 18-hole golf course is a mere two-mile drive.

RiverHaus on Edelweiss is located directly on the Chattahoochee River right downtown.

From the moment you walk through the front door, you will enjoy many-a-family memories in the fully-equipped kitchen, curling up in front of the fireplace, or relaxing outside listening to the soothing sounds of the river while grilling on the private deck. The newly-furnished living room also includes a queen-size sofa sleeper.

After a day of sightseeing, retire to either of the two upstairs master suites offering king-sized beds and en suite bathrooms. An upstairs deck offers yet another view of the river to wake up to while you enjoy your morning coffee.

Spring Quick Getaway 2025

We came up for a quick getaway and to be there for the annual trout fishing. We had a great stay. Cabin was very clean and well maintained. The only downside was there was no hot tub.

Perfect getaway!

This property is perfectly located for a great stay in Helen. The view of the river from the back decks is wonderful. The property gives a feeling of being out of town, while being located within a short walk of downtown.Management was wonderful to deal with. They informed me of an issue with one of the faucets before I arrived and provided me with the option of a late check out to compensate for the inconvenience.My family will be back!

Great Location

Great Location. Beautiful porch overlooking the river. Within walking distance to tubing, food, and more. Easy communication with staff. Even better than expected! Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Location

This unit is just outside the noise of the town center, but easily walkable. Having the river in the backyard was fantastic, and that's where we spent most of our time while not out and about. Kids had a blast playing with tubes right behind the unit. Would definitely come back.

Feels like home

This is our favorite place we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Cozy, comfortable, and amazing scenic river views. We felt right at home immediately upon entering. It’s right there in the action in Helen, GA.

Very clean, full amenities and convenient to everything. Close to town, shopping and restaurants. Not within walking distance of everything, but within a mile or two. There are a few dining options and limited shopping within walking distance. Overall a great place to stay. Plenty of room for 2 couples

What we were looking for...

The townhouse was very clean. Well maintained and had everything we needed. I will also say the beds we're extremely comfortable which is rare in a VRBO unit lately. Location was perfect...you can walk to the action in town but it's far enough away from the action to be nice and quiet. We will for sure stay again.

Great Condo!

My husband and I made a quick weekend getaway to Helen and this condo was perfect for us! The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. We enjoyed having the gas fireplace downstairs going while we relaxed in the living room at night. Having the porches to drink coffee on in the mornings while looking at the river was nice. If we go back to Helen we wi definitely look into staying here again.

Very clean and beautiful location!

The rental was very clean and comfortable, and the location is quite beautiful with the stream flowing in the backyard. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The location is perfect if you want to take a tubing trip (highly recommend!) and was close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants. (Bodensee is our fave restaurant!) We didn’t have any issues during our stay other than the ceiling fan in the master bedroom stopped working on the last night. But they said they would notify the owner to have it fixed. Such a great stay, will definitely rent again if we are back in Helen!

Expedia never provided check in for the unit. Had to use the contact the host and go through emergency response to get check in info. The lady I spoke with was very nice and quick to get me the info needed. Must be a problem between Vrbo and Expedia that never sent the check in email.

Absolutely loved!!!

We had such a great time in Helen!! The house was very clean and nice. I loved the balconies overlooking the river. So peaceful & there wasn’t any street noise. The location is close to everything not close enough for us to walk lol but it can be done. So much to do & see. We honestly will return & stay here again. My 6 year old wants to stay here for her birthday in the summer, so that’s a good sign!!! If you’re thinking about booking, you should!! The only issue we had was there was a small black ant problem in the kitchen. But they had ant spray. Also, wish there was bottled waters already there, had a hard time finding some that wasn’t Deer Park in town but anyway everything was great!!!

Nice condo!

The condo is very nice and equipped with what we needed. We booked this condo, so we would be on the river and my husband could fish some. Little did we know, a tropical storm would move through the night we arrived. We were called and told we might want to move our car to higher ground. (So we did). So, our first night we did not sleep good worrying the river would flood. There was no floding so we were thankful for that. We had very noisy neighbors on the 2nd night and on the 3rd night but they quieted down on the 3rd night so we were not disturbed too much. Also, the 3rd night the electricity apparently went out for a minute and when it came back on the tv in the living room came on and was very loud so that woke us up around 3:00/3:30 in the morning. The bed was not very comfortable to us but everything else about the condo was fine! I usually look for properties maintained by the actual owners and did not on this one, which reminds me why to do that. (They are much more personal and more communicative.). Nobody called or messaged us to let us know of the weather warnings. We did know a hurricane (Helene) was hitting Florida and that rain was expected in Helen but had no idea it could get bad. (We had a local tell us that warnings were issued the day before we came.). We did have someone from the rental company call us the next day to apologize for not letting us know. Overall it was a good stay

Property was great, very clean and well equipped. Communication with property management was very prompt and helpful.The only issue worth mentioning is that parking was a little cramped, but it would not deter me from staying here again! Overall it was a very good experience!
