Enjoy some serenity at this newly renovated Galway Lake house just feet from the waterfront! This luxurious rental has 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full/2 twin), 1 bath, fully equipped kitchen, a large TV in the living room, and breathtaking lake view from the deck. Take advantage of everything Galway Lake has to offer! Go for a swim or take a kayak out on the glistening water, hike the woods, catch a fish right off your lawn, grill some dinner, then kick back and relax around the warm crackling camp fire. If you’re lucky, you may even spot of one of our resident bald eagles! Guests will have private lake access from the cottage. The rental also includes two single kayaks, a fishing kayak, life preservers, a propane grill, fire pit, deck w/outdoor furniture, high speed internet , heat/AC, linens. So pack your bag, sign off those Zoom meetings, and let them know you’ll be at the lake!

Anniversary get away

This was the perfect place for our 20th anniversary getaway. We got to spend time on Galway Lake and explore some of the nearby areas. Barry and Heidi were amazing hosts and cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and opening their home to us.

The home itself is newly renovated and in Pristine shape. Very clean and has all the amenities. The property also supplies kayaks and paddle boards. The lake front property is beautiful and the sunrises are spectacular. Make sure to bring your fishing gear. Plenty of fish to be caught. The location is great for going to Saratoga race track or the town itself. Highly recommend this location and will definitely be back.

We had the best time! The owners have thought of absolutely everything. - every amenity possible. The lake is just steps from the house. The kayaks provided are great. The view is incredible, complete with a variety of wildlife. It is so peaceful and beautiful.

Slice of paradise

This jem is the perfect little cottage for our family of four. This is our second time staying here! The new construction/remodel and cleanliness of this rental is top notch. The kids love the kayaks, rowboat, and fishing. We love that the lake is so quiet and no motorized boats are on the lake. Already to book our visit next year!

Wonderful!

We had a great week. Lakefront, just. steps from Galway Lake, the house was so well outfitted. We spent most of our days in the lake, kayaking , in the lawn chairs by the lake, on the big deck, or by the fire pit at night. The environment is beautiful, and so relaxing.

Excellent Rental

We had a wonderful vacation. The owners thought of everything. Great house. Great lake. Great experience. The lake was close to the house, and easy access. The house & deck were so comfortable. There were multiple kayaks. The wildlife was amazing - eagles, osprey, herons, etc.

We have stayed here for multiple years because it is such an outstanding rental. The house & property are pristine with more amenities than you can image. The hosts have thought of everything. The property is close to the lake, easy access, kayaks & floaties, a swim platform, life jacket, huge deck with awning, comfortable furniture inside and out. The view is incredible.

Cottage on peaceful lake

Cottage is great for a couple or for a couple with children. Terrific view of Galway Lake out windows of open plan kitchen and family space. Wide lawn goes down to water. Cottage comes equipped with kayaks and a rowboat. Swimming also possible in shallow, calm waters of the lake. Ample lawn chairs and life vests. It was hot when we were there, but I'm sure the fire pit would be great in cool weather. Barry and Heidi are super hosts and live nearby. They met us, explained the quirks of the home, showed us the boats. Not many owners meet you on the first day, let alone come to the water to help get a heavy rowboat on shore! They also came to say goodbye. We would definitely come back if a future vacation brings us to the region. Joseph and Chris

Galway Lake Cottage

Recently remodeled, very clean, small 2 bedroom, one bath cottage with dishwasher and washer/dryer. Almost handicap accessible. Outdoor shower very pleasant. Water softener removes minerals, adds sodium. Septic for sewer. Deck with retractable awning. No screen porch. Gas BBQ. Heidi and Barry very pleasant and responsive to questions and repairs. Excellent check in and info notebook. Very quiet area. Flat lawn to 3 kayaks and row boat. Outdoor fireplace with seating. Swim platform. Nice linens. TV, VCR and games provided. Sleeps 6, but better for 4. Grocery store and rain day activities at least 30 min. away. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This rental is outstanding in all ways. Barry & Heidi Have thought of everything, and then some. It should be on HGTV. The house is so comfortable, and roomy with windows and a big deck that overlook Galway Lake. The view is incredible, the swimming, kayaking, and fishing are wonderful. It's so quiet and peaceful, yet close to lots of different activities. We didn't leave the property. It's that good.

Perfect location and house for a relaxing getaway!

This property far exceeded all expectations! From the location (perfectly situated with a beautiful lake view) to the exceptionally clean and updated home to the amenities! The hosts clearly have put a tremendous amount of care and thought into making this property a very special place. There are kayaks, beautiful walking trails, a fire pit with all you could use firewood. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil you could think of. The towels and linens are excellent. Basically everything is so well thought out and meticulous that I'm struggling to find anything that could use improvement! Just a beautiful, special place that I can't wait to go back to!

Perfect Lake house!

This newly remodeled rental is done to perfection! Everything was spotless, new and so organized! It was a great week for our family of four. Our kids swam, fished and paddled boats all day long! Nice fire pit and floating dock! The lake is quite (no motor boats), clear and calm. The owners take care of everything themselves and live near by to make sure everything is going well. We will be going back again next summer :)

Peaceful cottage

The cottage was newly renovated and felt fresh and wonderfully decorated. The owners did a great job in stocking everything in the kitchen, and in furnishing and adding finishing touches that made it extremely comfortably and a great place to spend a week. The large open area and deck are great for larger groups to gather and the view is amazing. Heidi and Barry couldn't have been better hosts.
