In the summer, you can go canoeing on the Tirino River or travel a bit further to Lake Scanno for a stroll or to ride a pedal boat, passing through Sulmona—the “city of sugared almonds.” Just a few kilometres away, you can visit other villages such as Santo Stefano or Calascio, home to La Rocca di Calascio castle.
