Great place for a solo or duo travelers and located in close proximity to the carnegie museums and he botanical gardens. The wifi is not super great here and the walls are somewhat thin in the building but for the price and location it is a great deal.

Property was very comfortable, very quaint. The location is misleading. It's actually in Oakland, close to Bloomfield, not shadyside. Parking looked suspect on the street/alley, but turned out to be very safe. I did not use the covered parking option. out to be very safe. I aske

This was a great spot to stay while I was visiting town for an event in the Oakland area. Walkable to Pitt/CMU and easy access to public transit. The room itself was as advertised, clean and comfy.

Easy and convenient space for short stays. It can be a bit noisy especially since the room was right next to the elevators. There were a few difficulties with the heating and fridge but was sorted through communication with the host as well as fixing the breaker. I liked that there is a sink and microwave. Overall a decent space!

Perfect for one night visit to the city for weekend baseball games. Very cool property in a quiet corner of the city. I picked this location to be close to family in Bloomfield. Plenty of onstreet parking, although I used the garage parking and it was spacious! I would gladly stay here again.

perfect space!

this was a great find and i will be back! my daughter is a freshman at pitt and staying here made it possible to bring my dog, which gave me so much peace of mind. they have used the space so well here! Henry and Alex were so easy to work with and there is anything and everything that you could want or need. so glad i found this rental!

As advertised, clean, no-frills (in a good way, as far as I'm concerned). Excellent communication from the host. Affordable. Two points to note that may be a matter of preference: First, the mini split air conditioner allows you to control the temperature in the room (great!) but makes a loud squeaky noise and has a bright LED display on the front, which for me was too loud and too bright to sleep. Second, I checked in after dark and the street parking and entrance to the building gave me some concerns about safety. The road is almost a dead-end (a small alley connects it to the next street over) with overgrown brush and the building sits across from a vacant lot. Lighting is ok. In the end there were no problems and I enjoyed my stay.

Family Time

I was there to see my son and the property turned out to be just a few doors from him. I was able to walk to get coffee, food and the Carnegie Musuem. The property was very clean, and the room was well stocked with everything you would get at a hotel, the only downside was the room was near the elevator so if you're a light sleeper it would not be ideal. The property manager Henry was very responsive any time I reached out.

Great property, excellent for a staycation. Location is quiet and located near University of Pittsburgh. Host was quick to respond whenever I had any questions.

Property in a convenient location, walking distance to universities. Street parking was within a block walk. Room was very comfortable, very high ceiling, could open windows. Extensive exercise facility that I didn't even tap into. Host was punctual in replying and available for any questions via email.
