This hill country waterfront lake house property has a beautiful view of the Pedernales arm of Lake Travis. This house contains 3 bedrooms/1 bathroom upstairs with an open concept kitchen/living/dining room area and complete with a huge balcony for a beautiful sunset view. Downstairs contains a large open room with 2 bunkbeds, 1 couch bed, full bathroom,washer/dryer, and a huge patio. I have ring security cameras on back yard, driveway and on my boat docks for your safety and security.

Relaxing place to stay!

We had such a great trip! The house was cozy and comfy with lots of amenities to make it extremely enjoyable. Nice relaxing stay as a way to decompress after a busy summer. Just floated in the river/lake by day and played some board games at night. Exactly what we were looking for - and exactly what we needed! Hoping to stay again in the future!

Family gathering

This was a wonderful place for my family and I to stay for a long weekend. 5 adults and 1 child were able to stay comfortably in the 4 different bedrooms, and we especially enjoyed the large yard and outdoor seating areas. The host was very communicative.

Pictures are misleading

Be warned the bunk room with 4 beds is not accessible from inside the house. It is it’s own outdoor entry under the house, essentially an old storage room “converted” into a bedroom. This was very misleading for 5 girls who planned to stay in the house and we did not feel safe sleeping down there. The water is also about 50 yards farther out than the pictures imply, currently that area is all dirt and weeds.

The pictures from the site are told at water level. It says to look at lcra website or request photos before you come. Lake travis is a reservoir that is not constant level. Stairs go to the room below. It is not a storage area. A bathroom attaches to it. It is super safe in this area with no problems. We don’t appreciate the poor review.

Thanksgiving stay

Enjoyed our stay in Spicewood. Property was very clean, spacious and met all of our expectations. Property manager was proactive, communicative and offered help if needed for fun activities for family or kids while in town. Very convenient 20 minute drive to in-laws house for thanksgiving in Austin.

Spring Retreat

Jason has a beautiful waterfront property. It is suffice to say, "the pictures do not do it justice". The house is well equipped with a fully stock kitchen, outdoor grills, the yard game quarters and plenty of outdoor seating for a group. There are ample linens, extra blankets, pillows, etc. that makes for superb sleeping arrangements. Additionally, the house was spotless and check-in was simple, seamless, and effect. It's a perfect location for a small group retreat. Jason maintains a very open line of communication and is easy to reach if you have questions or any issues. Our stay was issue free and Jason was very communicate to ensure we were enjoying our stay and his property. I highly recommend Jason's property for a small group looking for outdoor space and direct access to the water.

My Twin sister and Dad decided to buy the beautiful Lake House get away for our family and guest to enjoy. I live in Lakeway close by, along with my parents and my sister lives in New York. This place allows us to get away and enjoy family time by the Lake.

Why they chose this property

This Property is on the Pedernales arm of Lake Travis. This is the best water skiing area on the Lake hand down. We are close enough to the Colorado so the water holds well during dry times. The evening sunsets are beautiful and it is very peaceful. It is a quiet peaceful area for families to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

This house has easy access to the Lake. The views from the patio are breath taking in the evening and morning. Pacebend park is less then 15 minutes away. 4 wineries are within 30 minutes from house. Neighborhood boat ramp is available with the key at the house. Austin is a short 45 minutes away.
