Lake Travis waterfront home with private dock, kayaks, and territorial views of Lake Travis! This lovely country setting home has lots of privacy on about 3 acres with 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Enjoy the serene and private home and lounge on the dock or spacious decks. Your family will enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, playing games and/or sharing a meal overlooking the lake viewed from the large living room windows and deck. End your day fishing, swimming, kayaking, from the dock and finish with a spectacular sunset from the upper decks. Star gazing at night can also be quite breathtaking.

Home is located only 20 minutes away from downtown Austin. The waterfront is typically steps away from the property and surrounded by beautiful foliage. Nearby is a boat launch and public park. This is a perfect getaway for families, friends, and adventure seekers!

Our property has lots of stairs between the driveway and the home. Its perched high upon a hillside overlooking the lake bed, so if you have trouble with stairs, please inquire before booking.

** Lake Travis water level update: the lake level fluctuates and is below normal capacity. Docks are "NOT" floating as of April 1st, 2026. Pictures of lakefront were from July, 2025. We expect some lake level restoration in next 6 weeks (wet season) and we will update photos after those April & May rainfalls. **

Lakefront home is also available for long term rental, 31+ rentals are provided at a 50% discounted rate.

Parking was extremely difficult. Upper driveway way inaccessible. Lower driveway required multiple stairways that didn’t have rails to access house so carrying in everything was exhausting. House was dirty and had roaches. Property appeared unkept. Left after first night because there was no water.

This property was great. The owners were very responsive with communication and early check in. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable.The views were extraordinary, and it was a great place to walk around and explore.There are stores and restaurants nearby, which was very convenient.A few comments about the cleanliness: It would have been helpful to have more than one roll of toilet paper for 5 adults staying for Monday-Friday. The coffee maker had moldy coffee grounds. We did need to vacuum the downstairs area rugs and mop the tile floor.These were perhaps just oversights. We are happy to submit photos to the owners if they are interested.

Living the lakefront life

Just what the family needed....Lakefront fun in the sun, we loved the kayaks and boat dock. Our ausitinite friends came over on their boat for dinner. The home was perfect size for our family...we will book again next time we are in town!

Peaceful Hilltop Retreat with Stunning Views

Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The property is located on a hilltop with beautiful views, and each room had excellent cold air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the Texas heat.A couple of things to note: the gravel road and driveway can be a bit rough if you're driving a low-clearance vehicle—an SUV handles it much better. Also, if you park on the lower driveway, be prepared for a lot of stairs to reach the house. It’s manageable, but something to keep in mind if mobility is a concern.Overall, it’s a peaceful and well-equipped home, perfect for a relaxing getaway near Lake Travis.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We apologize for the ongoing drought situation and have tried to be very clear in the description regarding the current lake level. We set a trap for any field mice that could have found a way in, but so far haven't seen evidence of one. We also treated for rollie pollies that seem to occasionally appear on the laundry room. Communication with property owners was great, check in and check out process was a breeze. The house had everything we needed and slept 7 adults comfortably. The weeds around the stairs leading up the house needed to be mowed down to make it a bit easier getting to the house, other than that everything was perfect.

We have always loved the water and after years of saving, we finally managed to purchase this beautiful waterfront home with perfect lakeside sunsets. We will likely retire soon, but before we do, we decided share our home via the vacation rental system so that others can appreciate the natural wonders of the property.

We don't always make a profit. We intentionally keep our prices low so that almost anyone can afford to stay and enjoy themselves. A five star review is much more gratifying to us than the actual income.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property because we wanted Lake Travis lakefront with an open sunset view. We also wanted a property that felt charming with a cottage-like setting and lots of privacy. We were fortunate to get something that had that criteria and also had an easy commute to downtown Austin.

What makes this property unique

Property is on Lake Travis waterfront with a nearby boat launch, lots of privacy, open decks, and awesome views of the lake. The property also has plenty of nearby dining such as The Oasis on Lake Travis, Torchy's Tacos, Beachside Billy's, and the Steiner Ranch Steakhouse. Easy commute to Austin since its one of the closest lakefront properties to Austin that you can possibly get. Only a few minutes drive the Oasis, Hippie Hollow park, Zip Line tours, and easy drive to Beachside Billy's waterpark. High speed internet and cable TV included.
