We had a great stay, the property was very nice and conveniently located. Having a golf cart was super nice, we loved it! Only thing I would say, the dryer took a really long time to dry laundry, but it was a minor inconvenience. Overall we enjoyed our time at this resort and beach. We had a great family vacation.

Thank you for the 5-star review! Glad Beachwalk Villas 5079- On the Rocks was a great fit — happy the golf cart made getting around easy and that you enjoyed the resort and beach. Sorry about the slow dryer; we'll pass that along to maintenance to inspect and improve for future guests. We appreciate the feedback and hope to welcome you back. RealJoy Destin

I rented this property before and the golf cart was included making travel back from beach and pool easier so we decided to rent again now they say it’s a 500 deposit for golf cart that was not in the listing I was very disappointed I will not be returning again I called and told them about it and they did nothing so I will not be returning again

Thank you for choosing to stay with us again. We’re sorry the golf cart deposit requirement caused frustration and disappointment during your return visit. The $500 deposit is refundable and is required for use of the golf cart. We understand that this may have differed from your previous stay and regret that the requirement was not clear to you when making your reservation. We are reviewing how the golf cart information is presented to ensure the deposit and usage requirements are communicated as clearly as possible before booking. We truly appreciate your repeat business and are disappointed that this change negatively impacted your experience.

Perfect location and amenities for family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and stay at On the Rocks. We had easy access to a beautiful beach and multiple pools, the golf cart was so helpful getting us back and forth. The house had everything we needed for meals in and the back patio was a perfect location to end the evening.

Great place to stay

We had an awesome experience staying at 5079 "on the rocks". The location was on the beachside of the complex. It also was a short walk to the pool. Real Joy representatives contact me throughout the week to ensure our stay was 5 star. The best of all was having access to the golf cart. We used it numerous times to get around the complex. I will definitely book again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Super cute and great location

We are purchasing in Sandestin and needed a place to stay to check out the area and explore! This location was beachside and great for walking to the beach. The view out the Master window is lovely and the bathrooms and kitchen are updated. It was decorated very cute with a perfect lounging chair for reading or watching Tv!

Great stay!

We had a great stay. The house was nice and the perfect setup for our family. The golf cart worked great and was very nice to have to get around the resort and to get to the beach. We would definitely stay here again. We didn’t receive the code to the key box for the golf cart key upon arrival which was annoying to have to call the office and wait on hold for 30 minutes to get the code to be able to use the golf cart, but otherwise, everything else was great!

Great Winter Get-Away!

Overall great experience! The unit looked exactly as advertised! Only issue was that we were a little confused about the check-in process on the resort but the resort staff clarified easily. The property owners/managers were also easy to contact and responded in a timely manner. We would absolutely recommend this property to family and friends! Would also stay here again!

We come to Sandestin every spring break and is one of the family highlights of the year. Unfortunately the unit was double booked so we had another family come knocking on our door the first day shortly after arrival, which was very uncomfortable being they expected us to get out of the unit. Parking was a disaster, was not able to use the golf cart since they decided to inform us there was a 500 deposit upon arrival after thinking it was included based on the description of the unit (one of the main reasons we booked the unit). Furniture was in terrible shape, no extra linens and the back porch door would not lock which made us very uncomfortable being we have two young children. The unit itself was ok but felt cheap. You could tell they had taken a lot of shortcuts and the screen porch had a rip in the screen which was not a big deal but didn’t send a good first impression. Overall I would not recommend the company more than I would not recommend the unit. Felt very bait and switch from the description of the unit and amenities that came along with it. Will not be using them again.
