Adorable pet-friendly cottage within walking distance to downtown Saugatuck and all it has to offer. Main room offers a gas fireplace, TV and full kitchen with a pull-out loveseat and space to dine. Queen bed in bedroom, ensuite bath with shower and laundry room. A/C, ceiling fans & shady location. Private parking and outdoor garden area. Perfect stay for a couple + 1. Be sure to take advantage of the popular restaurant The Southerner right next door. The restaurant can be quite busy in the summer so there's fantastic people watching from your private patio but it ends service at 10pm so no late night noise or commotion.

This was the perfect cozy cottage for 2. Very clean and plenty of room for 2 to fit comfortably. I was worried at first seeing the restaurant right next door but I didn’t hear a peep the entire time. Great spot right off of all the buzz of downtown but still walking distance.
What a great cottage! Very clean, well appointed. Amy has done an incredible job at appointing the cottage with all the necessities. Even umbrellas for those rainy days. We will definitely be back!
The cottage was so nice and well kept. Seems like it was recently renovated - the pictures don’t do it justice! Perfect size for a weekend getaway for a wedding in saugatuck. The host was wonderful and super easy to work with. It was lovely being able to bring our dog. Will be back!
Such a cute cozy cottage. Everything is tastefully updated and even has a hidden dishwasher. It was super clean and well-stocked. The patio is a lovely place to read and relax. The location is convenient to town with The Southerner just steps away.
Cute and comfortable cottage that was very clean. First thing I noticed upon entering the cottage was how nice it smelled. It’s close to town in a nice neighborhood and an easy walk too town. Only drawback is no yard. Cute patio though.
Very well done remodel of cottage - was very peaceful - we did visit off season 3/31-4/3 - it would be hopping for sure during height of season. Cottage is right off parking lot of the Southerner
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary weekend at this property last year. We had such a wonderful stay that we booked a return visit for our 34th anniversary. Our dog Charlie travels with us and we were able to enjoy hiking at the State park while he was safe and sound at the Roost. We look forward to coming back next year!
This was our second trip to the Roost! We highly enjoyed being able to walk to town and enjoy all that Saugatuck has to offer. A quick walk back and dinner was on our doorstep! I highly recommend staying at the Roost!!
My friend and I had a very pleasant and peaceful stay. The lodging was clean and well-appointed. I would recommend this lodging to others and plan to visit again. Thank you
The Roost was a lovely spot for a getaway weekend! Great use of cozy space. Clean, well-designed and maintained. Next to our favorite restaurant so that’s a plus too!
We had a wonderful girls get away. Everything you need is provided in that house, and if it's not, you don't really need it. The perfect location for us to unplug, unwind and slow down, not to mention it's a short stroll to all the downtown gems! Thank you, Amy, for hosting us!
Property was cute and cozy. Clean also. Only drawback would have to be that its literally in a restaraunt parking lot. It wasnt too bad noise wise but the car traffic and a bit of noise, especially when the restaurant staff were getting off shift, was unexpected.
This place is very cute and stayed really warm during a winter storm which was so fun to experience. The heated bathroom floor and fireplace were much appreciated! In the winter this is not a gorgeous location as without the tree leaves you feel planted in the middle of a parking lot; however, the location allowed us the ability to get to shops and restaurants that stayed open during the snow, wind and very cold temperatures. It's great that the Southerner delivers! Allowing pets is another definite plus to the cottage. Our cat hung out in front of the fireplace the whole time we were there. In addition to going to the stores and restaurants, we cross country skied at Pigeon Creek, visited both Holland and Saugutuck Dunes State Park and checked out the snow on Opal Beach. Saugutuck is an awesome little town that offers a lot. We will definitely be back to enjoy it again and will also try to rebook this place although we know it is popular from its reviews and from reading its guest book.
This cottage was perfect! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! Very clean, and every amenity we needed. Great use of a small space. 10/10 would stay again!
