Had a great stay. Host was responsive and the home was very clean. Great location in a quiet residential area, but close enough to get to all activities in a short drive. Many grocery stores around too. We are pleased with our choice.

We made a quick trip south to experience tarpon fishing at Boca Grande. This house is about 9 minutes from the marina where many boats launch and less than 20 minutes from downtown, restaurants and bars. This house provided comfortable lodging and was clean and tidy. Kitchen is well stocked. And if you and your family/friends are looking for more than just a comfortable house, the host has provided you with all the “toys” - grill, beach gear, etc. There is absolutely nothing to do in Rotonda West area but if your goal is affordable, comfortable, quiet and yet access to Boca Grande, this is a great choice.

We had a lovely time. We left a few things behind with a super early flight my mom lives in the area. Can she pick up the items if left on the porch? It’s tethers in freezer and a black out shade. Thanks!

This home was actually part of what I would call a duplex. It was not a problem, just surprised me upon arrival. We had internet problems for the first 2 days/nights, but our host worked diligently to get it fixed. I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness because of the floors. There was a provision to not wear shoes in the house which I found odd, but adhered to. The bottoms of my socks were really dirty after walking around in them. Again, not a reason to not stay there, but everything else appeared squeaky clean, so it was surprising. The location was perfect for us while we participated in a golf tournament nearby...3 minutes to be exact. :) We found some good restaurants just a few minutes away and others a bit further in Venice. Appreciated our host coming by and turning up the temp on the water heater so we had plenty of hot water. I would stay here again if in the area. It worked well for 3 women who wanted their own bedroom. :)
