Generally a very nice property and excellent location, well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and especially the beautiful vews and sunsets from the upper balcony. Some elements, however, left us with the feeling that there was room for improvement to achieve a 5 star rating.Top level of house has A/C, lower (2 bedrooms) does not. In-wall units would significantly improve this -especially in 30 temps! There was a large toilet room on the main floor, but no sink to wash your hands?Yard and garden maintenance - what could be an outstanding outdoors felt completely overgrown...bushes scratching vehicles on every entry, path to village a jungle experience. A sense of lack of maintenance. BBQ - nice unit with 1 side grill and 1 side griddle. But when renting a unit that sleeps 10, we had hoped to cook many of our meals on the bbq. Hard to cook 8-10 steaks on half a BBQ. Again, with a capacity for larger groups with potential for 2 or 3 vehicles, supplying one set of controls for laneway gate and suggesting that additional vehicles park in the street and use man-gate was off putting. Perhaps time to use technology (key pads, remotes) to access doors and gates?Some heat in the pool would have been nice.We are making these comments hoping that they are taken as constructive suggestions. We make these as users of short term rentals for over 35 years. You have a potentially fabulous property! But, like any home, it needs continual maintainance and reinvestment....
