Best Vacation!!

Villa Arghy is one of a kind... A truly magical place. The house is very clean with wonderful amenities. The staff was kind and very helpful and Lesley is a great cook! If your looking for a relaxing, gorgeous getaway that's stress-free, look no further than Villa Arghy!

Absolutely Recommend!

My husband and I went to get away for a long week. We were able to relax to the maximum. Beautiful view to wake up to every morning. Rosie and Moises were so kind and took very good care of the property and us. They were very helpful to us if we wanted to just stay at the house and lounge or call us a taxi to go grocery shopping or out to eat or explore. Highly recommend!

Vacation of a lifetime

Absolutely phenomenal property, and the best caretakers ever. Absolutely anything you need they can help you organize and accommodate to your desires. About 20-30 minutes by car north of Tulum city but very safe, secluded neighborhood with its own small bars and restaurants, also walking distance from casa cenote. Rosie’s cooking is the best and I would highly recommend having breakfasts at the villa if not 3 meals a day. Moises makes sure the property is stunning and makes amazing cocktails and always went above and beyond for us, even calling a last second taxi to the airport. Our group was 6 which seems to be the perfect number of mid 20’s adults for the villa, but with kids and families the villa could easily hold 12. Only recommendation is bring lots of cash for taxis, groceries and tipping! I cannot wait to be back!!!

Dream vacation for our family

Villa Arghy was the perfect spot for our family vacation over Spring Break. My husband, myself and our 6 kids (9-19 years old) loved the setting. We spent lots of time around the pool and enjoyed the view from the many decks. It was an ideal location to lots of cenotes (we enjoyed Casa Cenote and even saw a crocodile there!), Xe-Hal and Tulum. The house was beautifully kept by Leslie and Alfredo and they were super helpful. We looked forward to the daily pico de gallo and guacomole. The house was spacious and had plenty of room. We felt super safe there and liked the private neighborhood. We'd definitely stay again! Thank you for an unforgettable vacation.

MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLA!

I chose this villa for my bachelorette party of 8 girls because it looked like the perfect fit for all of us and it exceeded my expectations!! The house was big, comfortable, has a beautiful view and it was just overall stunning. I would definitely recommend Lesley the house chef and her husband Alfredo for cleaning, they live just outside of the villa and come and go to check on us and make sure we have everything we need at all times. This is also a gated community which has security and they always check who's coming and going, which is great for safety and comfort reasons. I have recommended this to all my family and friends as soon as i got back home and i will definitely be back here!! thank you for our wonderful stay :)

This Villa was amazing! The only cons: beach not easily walkable due to huge turtle pits where they lay their eggs but on the flipside seeing baby turtles and releasing them into the ocean is a once in a lifetime experience. The other con is the road to the Villa. It is a very long way down the road to Villa Arghy and the road is bumpy and full of holes. It is a dirt road, not paved and when I say bumpy I mean it moves all your insides around...for real. Beware if you are pregnant. Everything else was great! It was nice having Rosa and Moises right out front. Felt completely safe and they took care of all our needs and kept the Villa clean. We did not experience any of the scams we read about and everyone we encountered in Mexico was nice and friendly and helpful. Kitchen fully stocked. Amazing views! Books, videos and games. Rooftop terrace. Beautiful sunrises. I was surprised to see so much litter on the dirt road. With all the beautiful Villas and their immaculate grounds (ours was) I was surprised that the cleanliness of the road area was not better. Overall, I would stay here again.

Absolutely Amazing!

Villa Arghy looked beautiful in the photos we had seen online and the reviews were all great too but our own personal experience far exceeded any expectations we had before arriving. When we arrived we were greeted by Lesley and Alfredo who helped to make our vacation unforgettable. We have been vacationing on the beaches of North Carolina for the past 20 years but came to Mexico after our son got married in Merida. Now the only place my family wants to go to is to the Villa Arghy. It has everything you need to feel like you are at home, actually, it has many more conveniences than home. Please have Lesley cook for you. Her food was the best in the Yucatan! Alfredo even took our son spear fishing at night, which was an experience he won't forget. We also had the rare privilege to witness a mother turtle make a nest and lay her eggs and then we saw several nests hatch and observed a "turtle boil"! This trip provided our family and friends with a lifetime of memories and for that we will always be grateful. We are already planning our next visit to the Villa Arghy!

Great house to spend time with family

The house was gorgeous and had everything we needed for the week. It's been a while since we've been on vacation with our adult children and this was a perfect set-up for us. Plenty of room to have individual space but great shareable areas to all hangout (we especially loved having after dinner drinks on the rooftop). Pool was perfect, played pool volleyball, used rafts left at property. Property was right on ocean-beautiful views and sounds. Moises and Rosy were amazing hosts. Rosey cooked everyday for us and everything was delicious, we always looked forward to homemade salsa and guacamole everyday. Amazing service! They also shopped for us and bought everything we needed. I would recommend bringing pesos to pay for groceries so there are no issues with exchange rate. Moises was so accommodating, he drove me to a bank/atm to exchange US dollars for pesos. The only issue with the house is that the dirt road to get to it was pretty bad with lots of pot holes and difficult for cars to navigate therefore we never left the area to explore downtown Tulum, etc. We did walk to O'Tulum Restaurant which was very close by, they have a big variety of amazing tacos which I highly recommend. Great trip overall!

Beautiful House

We had a great time. The house is more amazing than in the photos. The food was just okay and there were some shady calculations happening with service fees by the caretakers. I recommend asking for receipts every day for any groceries purchased on your behalf or stop for groceries on your way in. Otherwise, we had a great trip. The amenities are as described and really a beautiful home and location.

Great family retreat vacay

Came here w my daughter before college and other mom friends. Moses organized all our trips and taxis. Rosie cooked for 4 days. Everything top notch and great delish food. We had Moses be bartender and he made margaritas everyday. They also did housekeeping everyday so it was better than a hotel. My daughter saw turtles laying eggs in front of the house which is cool. This is not really a swimming beach because of coral and seeweed may-nov. I think it looks pretty good for longboard though if you are an intermediate surfer. The beach is coarse white sand. We stayed mostly in the pool and went to cenotes and ruins. Great value, amazing staff and love the affable owner. Very nice people. We will be back!!!

Family getaway

We spent 10 days at the villa with our family. The villa is stunning, with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to gather and the views are amazing. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The housekeepers took very good care of us and prepared some delicious meals. They kept the house and pool very clean. The pool area is beautiful and we spent many days relaxing by the pool. The beach was the only disappointment as there is a lot of seaweed. We weren't able to go in the water. This is the reason we gave an overall rating of 4 stars. If you don't care about going in the water, then this will not be an issue. We did get to see sea turtles coming on land at night to lay eggs which was very exciting. Apart from the beach, we would recommend staying at the villa. We were sad when it was time to leave.

Villa Argy is a great stay

First I’ll say, the pictures do not do this villa justice. Great well thought out design and gorgeous views in a pleasant setting. Leslie and Alfredo were great. Even snuck away and washed our cars before we left without us knowing. This place has a everything you need for a big family or small group. Was able to dive a cenote cavern five minutes down the road. Staff kept everything immaculate. This was a better stay than we imagined. Accolades to the owners.

Beautiful beach house

A beautiful beach house, immaculately maintained by the caretakers Lesley and Alfredo. It's right on the beach - great for watching the sun rise over the ocean - and we had breakfast outdoors in the pool area every day. The house itself is very comfortable and well arranged, with plenty of room for our family of 5.

Fabulous home. Lesley and husband were superb--cooked great meals and took care of all our needs.

Seven of us enjoyed 5 days and 4 nights in this magnificent home with an awesome view of the ocean. The view from the pool can't be beat. We used the tour group recommended by Rose and they were excellent. They picked us up and returned us to the villa after each exceptional excursion. Lesley and her husband simply could not have been better, making our stay most enjoyable. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because of the beach which is terribly littered with plastic trash. We went out each day and picked up bags of trash so that we didn't have to look at it when we went down on the beach.

One word = Magical!

My husband and I absolutely loved Villa Arghy. The photos do not do it justice. Our trip was absolutely magical and we couldn't have asked for a better location to spend it. The house staff, Leslie and Alfredo, were really sweet and helpful. We got to see hundreds of baby turtles hatch right there in front of the villa. I will recommend this place to everyone I know.

Beautiful home and AMAZING staff!

4 couples and myself had the pleasure of staying at Villa Arghy for a week in January of 2016. The house is in excellent shape and had more than enough room to accommodate our group. The beach in the back is groomed nicely and there are plenty of lounge chairs by the pool. One of out favorite parts of the stay was Leslie's cooking. She prepared breakfast and dinner for us a few times and it was simply amazing. It is very cheap and you do not have to lift a finger. Some of her authentic meals took hours to prepare. We all hope to stay there again in the near future.

Perfect beachfront home in Tulum

It's no wonder this house keeps getting 5 star reviews. The house itself is wonderfully maintained with excellent finishes throughout the house. It will easily accommodate a group of eight (we were six) with plenty of room on all levels. The beach setting is lovely and with the pool edging right up to the beach. The caretakers Lesly and Alfredo are just wonderful people and there to help in any way. Lesly is there every morning to clean the house and which is immaculate. Alfredo is up at the crack of dawn every morning to clean the beach and pool area. We felt very safe and comfortable having them on the property. I cannot recommend this spot highly enough as it is on a beach away from all the traffic on the Tulum beach strip. There is a cenote to take swim within walking distance and the Tulum ruins are just 15 minutes away. We have been renting ocean front houses for many years and this one is fabuloso!

We bought and built on this property because we love the Caribbean and it is a short 2 hour direct flight into Cancun and away from our busy lives, but a short drive, to the city. It is a great place to relax and get away from it all OR/AND close to Eco Activities, Mayan Ruins, great food, Kayaking on the Cenotes, and superb tours should we want to take them in.

What makes this property unique

We built with lots of glass, allowing you to view the ocean from most anywhere in and outside the Villa. Rosy and Moises helps to make your stay the "Best Vacation"" ever. They are available as your private chefs.
