The Pierce Cottage is a bespoke, luxury private vacation rental designed with the Hull’s signature “Modern Vintage" style. It features a modern mixture of industrial and masculine elements.

It’s the perfect retreat for couples, honeymoons, girlfriend getaways or small families. It's also a sought after background setting for commercial, bridal and blogger photo and video shoots.

Our other listings the No. 1450 Cottage(#642257), the Boho Cottage(#1005562) and the Eisley Cottage(#22636020) are all on the same property and available for rent. Conveniently located on the main road just one mile from Round Top square, this hip and unique property is walking distance to seven antique shows during the Spring and Fall Round Top Antique Fairs. Additionally, the property is a quarter mile from Festival Hill, a 200 acre campus containing major performance facilities, historic houses, extensive gardens, walking trails and nature preserves.

Please note:

Round Top shops and restaurants are generally open Thur - Sun. Surrounding towns (Brenham, LaGrange, Giddings) have more options during the week.

Due to the high-end amenities in our cottages as well as potential hazards to your little ones, The Vintage Round Top is best suited for children ages 10 and up. However, we do offer child waivers should your child be younger.

Our base rates listed are for double occupancy (first 2 guests). Additional guests are charged $25 per person / per night.

Quick weekend getaway!

We were very happy with everything they had to offer! The beds were comfortable the views were great as well as the location. They even had Earl Gray tea so I was able to make a London Fog!

Location was nice and close to shopping and restaurants. Cottage was well decorated with a comfy bed. The pasture on the back of the property with cattle and beautiful sunsets made up for any noise from the busy road at the front entrance side!

Paige and Smoot Hull developed The Vintage Round Top in 2012 when they opened their first renovated cottage named No. 1450 in Round Top, Texas — home of renowned antiquing shopping and stunning countryside. The 2,400 sq. ft. home was designed with sustainability in mind. It’s comprised of reclaimed building materials and unique vintage finds creatively re-purposed into furniture, lighting, and decor. By combining modern, clean lines with reclaimed vintage touches, the "Modern Vintage" style was defined.

Over the next few years, many people retreated to No. 1450 as a special haven for getaways, celebrations, and special moments. The Hulls loved being able to share their home and their modern vintage lifestyle with others, so they decided to expand and share their home with even more people. In 2016 construction began on a second cottage named Boho. Unlike the original cottage that embodies an industrial modern farmhouse feel, the new Boho cottage features a more modern mixture of boho, glam, and industrial elements.

In 2019 the two Cozy Cottages opened as a way to expand the lodging choices. The cottages are 400 sq. ft and provides the perfect size for couples wanting privacy in an upscale environment. Each cottage has a unique personality and offers the guests a different lodging experience.

Additionally, the Hulls are excited about showcasing the many talented artisans who have collaborated with them on their projects.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because we love the rolling hills, fresh air, and pastoral views in this small unique town. Only one and a half hours from Houston or Austin and two hours from San Antonio, the town of Round Top has art galleries, antique shops, wine bars, and cafes that rival the big cities. The internationally renowned Round Top Antique Fair is held twice a year in Spring and Fall. Small town parades and festivals are held in the town square and bring you back to a simpler time. Festival Hill and Shakespeare at Winedale provide first-class entertainment. Five + small Texas towns are all only 20 minutes away with two large boating lakes 20 - 45 minutes away.
