Thank you for your review. While our rental is located in a very family oriented neighborhood and as stated by many previous guests before you, our neighborhood is one of the most charming, quiet and peaceful ones in Ypsilanti. I think it would be fair to highlight that this particular weekend there was a football game going on, and therefore and as it is expected there is more excitement in the streets.
This was the perfect place to stay for our weekend swim meet at EMU! Boys and girls had their own spaces, we were able to make meals, quiet street/neighbors, VERY clean and neat place, and excellent communication from our hostess. We would highly recommend staying here!

Really enjoyed this stay -- the two-bedroom apartment had a great kitchen and was extremely comfortable. It was within walking distance of everything, and a good place to stay in and relax. Hosts were wonderful, and it was enjoyable to sit in the backyard on a warm spring evening. Highly recommend.
The host is very nice, responds quickly to messages and was very accommodating when we needed to add a day to our stay. The neighborhood is full of beautiful historical homes. We enjoyed nearby Depot Town, and Ann Arbor. We had an all-around great time.

Thank you for your kind words, Erin. Welcome anytime.
We really enjoyed our stay here, and felt fortunate to have a chance to meet our hosts who were both lovely to chat with. The house is old and charming, and the apartment is comfortable and familiar in a cozy way. We appreciated that it was just a few short blocks to downtown Ypsilanti, and just a few more blocks from Depot Town, so it was easy to take a stroll, grab dinner/ice cream, and admire the historic architecture.

The property was well maintained and clean. The owner was welcoming and the check in/out process was easy. The neighborhood was quite and we walked to the local pub The Tap Room. I highly recommend you stop in for a drink. The property is about 10 minutes from the football stadium.
Glory was a great host. She responded promptly to all communications. The rental was clean, comfortable, and just as advertised. I felt very safe and comfortable for the four days we stayed. I’d go back in a heartbeat next time I’m in Ypsi! Great location close to downtown, and within walking distance to depot town (although driving is also super easy).
Small, cozy but perfect for a short stay. Residential area of town, but close to restaurants and major in and out highways. Had a very small issue with sink and owner took care of it right away. Nice place.

Very clean with nice amenities and lovely decorations. Very quiet and private. We especially enjoyed having two bedrooms since my snoring bothers my wife. Be ready for two flights of stairs - but as a couple of 73 year old seniors, we still feel it was worth it.

Thank you for your kind review John, as always it was a pleasure to host you and Patti. Welcome back anytime!
We really enjoyed our stay at this well maintained VRBO. It was located in a very walkable historic neighborhood near the heart of Ypsilanti. Many interesting restaurants, coffee shops, etc. were nearby. The apartment itself was cheerful, clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need to prepare a meal. The hosts were congenial and available as needed. We highly recommend.
We have stayed here multiple times. Part of this is because there are two bedrooms so my snoring doesn't bother my wife. Having a kitchen is also a great perk. We are 74 years old, and can manage the stairs up to the second floor. We stay here when we visit my 98 year old mother. Hope we can continue to do so!
My sister and I were born in Ypsilanti. We now live in the SF Bay Area but came home to Ypsi for a family gathering. My sister hasn't been to Ypsi in 50 years.
We were charmed by this well-maintained 19th century home. The suite we stayed in had two comfortable bedrooms, a bathroom, sitting room and well-equipped kitchen. Having these lovely rooms to come home to made it much easier to explore Ann Arbor, Ypsi and Detroit. Thank you!

Why they chose this property
Great location!!! The History District in Ypsi is filled with beautiful architecture. Homes mostly from the 1800s with styles ranging from Victorian (like ours), Queen Anne, and Italianate therefore taking a stroll down the neighborhood is great fun. The house is also very centrally located. It's10 mins to downtown Ann Arbor, 15 min to EMU, 15 min to all shopping Target, Krogers, Aldi, Trader Joe's, Home Depot, and Lowes. Only 2 blocks to Downtown Ypsilanti, this is a 5 min walk where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, book stores, ice cream parlors, vintage stores, and Depot Town. So yes a little bit for everyone ;)
