Home is about 1500 square feet, set on 10 acres of pasture and woodlands. Carefully decorated for our family—welcoming; seems like home. Knotty pine cabinets and trim with Wood and carpet floors. Gorgeous; private view of the mountains, (7700 elevation). Very peaceful and somewhat secluded. Lots of wildlife: we see elk, deer, and turkey on the property, and have heard mountain lions, and seen evidence of bear. When in season we have several varieties of visiting hummingbirds. very cozy and comfortable cabin. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were very comfortable. The location was fantastic, we saw deer in the front field every day and elk as well. We’ve stayed at a number of locations in Cloudcroft and this has been the best we will come back
We loved the deer, hummingbirds, and the donkeys. Our beds were very comfortable, andThe Kitchen was well stocked. The living area and the front porch were great for viewing the acenery and visiting.
Ran to the mountains for a quick long weekend and found a vacation in nature that recharged our batteries. Close to national monuments and an overall charming town. The cabin is as advertised and had everything we needed for a cozy stay. Would stay again and definitely recommend!
The cabin was cozy and it was well equipped. The live Christmas tree and fireplace made it look so beautiful and like a Christmas card! The beds were comfortable. The master bedroom was freezing because there's no central heating in there, but they have a portable heater and extra blankets. The room took a while to warm up. We were not able to take advantage of the zip line because it was pretty rusted. Overall, I recommend this cabin!
Our group loved staying at this cabin. It was very comfortable for seven people, and it was super clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!
We absolutely love staying here! It is perfectly located and we love the space for the kids to play and enjoy! We love getting to see all of the wildlife and enjoy the home feeling of the cabin! The Armstrong’s are great hosts and are always quick to respond! I recommend if you and your family or friends are looking for a get away l, this is the place to go!
