The museum house is a one of a kind, creative space with flourishes like a roulette table, radiant concrete floors and a good sound system. It's not a luxury stay, so expect a few ergonomic quirks and odd details. Some practical notes: the bedrooms aside from the primary are very much kids rooms in decor and execution. The twin mattress room is lying on the floor. Laundry has to be booked in a separate building and was sometimes not available so we wound up having to visit the laundromat in town. Take note of another commenters’ sleep mask suggestion since there are no window treatments. Hosts were top notch.
Fantastic modern house by a clear beautiful creek, right next to downtown Woodstock. Plenty of comfortable beds, great kitchen, beautiful views - wonderful stay.
What a great place! The house was amazing and just a short walk to town.
The outside space was great for relaxing and enjoying the quiet beauty.
Min was very helpful!
The property was great and as advertised and perfect for our long weekend. The setting is very rural but at the same time, it is less than 5 minutes from downtown Woodstock and all it has to offer. The host was delightful, attentive and responsive.
This is a unique house in an enchanting setting, walking distance from the town of Woodstock (either along the roads—at your own risk—or on a wooded trail along the river). Five of us had a wonderful stay here! The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and dining, and the house is arranged beautifully for congregating indoors or out. The house is plenty spacious for five people, though there was one less twin bed than we expected from the photos and one room had a window that didn’t close properly. Also, potential renters should note that there are no blinds or curtains on the windows and the master bedroom has a glass wall that looks out onto the living room. Light-sensitive travelers should bring sleep masks!
