This was a great experience for anyone looking for that option that’s not just a typical hotel room. The owner did a great job creating a special place to stay rich in Clarkdale history. Will stay again!

Incredible Stay

This was our second time staying here and it never disappoints. So much attention to detail, spacious rooms with everything we needed. We love this place and the host. The location is perfect for trips to old Cottonwood, Jerome and Sedona. Plenty of great places to eat and shop. Hope to return soon.

Wonderful schoolroom full of interesting antiques. Comfortable bed

We enjoyed our stay in the storybook schoolhouse apt #1 very much. Lots of interesting places to go close by. Great restaurants in clarkdale and old cottonwood. Wendy Jackson, the owner is a sweetheart.

The school house is awesome. The place was set up so good. There was so many neat things to look at and the area was quite. The host was very welcoming and helpful. I slept good in the comfortable bed. The overall experience was amazing. When I get a chance to go back to clarkdale I will definitely book this spot again.

This place was amazing! Great use for an old school house! The room was huge! Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. All the amenities you need. The host was very helpful with property information as well as information on things to do in the area.We will definitely stay here again.

Great place, unique and fun!

All the amenities and modern comforts. Amazing sink, midsize refrigerator, 2 person shower, great tub. The record player just capped it off. The bed is soft and you sink in nicely. If you’re used to a firm bed, plan accordingly. We ate breakfast in the garden, watched the birds, lizards and enjoyed the weather and flowers. Very cool place!

Room was just a seen in photos. It was clean and bed was comfortable. It was quite hot outside and the window AC seemed like it struggled to cool off the room during the day. We loved the note left on the chalkboard and little surprises around the place. Would love to come back in the cooler months.
