Newly Renovated House on Lake Superior with Private Beach

Enjoy beautiful Lake Superior from this newly renovated family-friendly three-bedroom home. Property boasts excellent lake views from nearly every room in the house. Take in a sunrise on your own private sandy beach. Bayfield WI and the Apostle Island are a short fifteen-minute drive away.

Our house offers three bedrooms. There are two bedrooms located up a half flight of stairs. They both provide queens beds and share a full bathroom. The third bedroom is located directly off the kitchen and provides two twin size beds. The second bathroom is a half bath, and is located between the kitchen and the third bedroom.

Northern WI offers year-round outdoor activities. Kayak, fish, hike, paddleboard, snowmobile, ski and more… Regional attractions include Bayfield apple & berry farms, Big Top Chautauqua, Apostle Island Cruises, Ferry to Madeline Island, or take in the great restaurants, pubs, and shopping nearby.

The ice rink is subject to lake and weather conditions.

Exceptional! The home is exactly as it looks in the photos. Everything you would want is there. We loved the blanket throws, the decor, attention to details, cleanliness, communication, and the location on the water is so nice. Walking into the home it smells fresh and clean too. There were a ton of games to use also. It made our trip to look at Wisconsin’s waterfalls even more memorable!

Had a wonderful 4 day stay. Very comfortable stay. The AC went out but the owners brought in several fans so that helped plus it cooled off nicely at night. House had everything we needed. Wonderful view of Lake Superior.

A Great Stay for Book Across the Bay!

This place was perfect for our Book Across the Bay weekend. The house is very clean, comfortable and in an unbeatable location. The hosts were very communicative. Couldn't asked for a better stay!

View is amazing on this lakefront property! Close to both downtown Washburn and Ashland too!

The view out of the back of the house is simply amazing... it was great being directly on the lake! Super clean house, easy check in...we enjoyed driving into the little towns quickly too! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Great views of the lake even from inside the house. Very clean, nice decor, fully stocked, and responsive hosts. Peaceful just watching the moon (and sun) rise while listening to the waves crash the rocks.

Nice house in the lake

We had a great stay at this lakefront house. It was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend to others who are wanting to stay in the area! One thing, however, wish it was a little further from the busy road. Otherwise it was perfect. Thank you!

Great stay

This is a fantastic newly renovated property. There are 2 bedrooms up a half flight of stairs as well as a bedroom with two twin beds off the main room. You have amazing sunrise views. We bought cheap wetsuits off Amazon and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the beach area daily. The water was about waist deep for our tweens for about 30 yards out. This was a quick drive to Bayfield as well as Meyers Beach and Houghton Falls. Highly recommend

Very nice!

Our family of 5 had a great stay, everything was very nice! We loved being right on the lake which was not as cold as we expected. We swam and took paddle boards that we brought out every day. Everything in the house was high quality, very neat and clean; loved the bedding and towels. We enjoyed the screened porch and back deck. There was a gravel path we could run in for miles- it went right into town. So much to do and see very close by. We would most definitely return!

Don’t hesitate, just book it.

We just spent an amazing week at Mike and Kim’s home. Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful and so comfortable. The views are incredible. Many nice touches like blackout curtains, nightlights, extra linens, tons of games, and everything was very clean! We spent most of our time on the screen porch and down on the beach. The kids swam nearly everyday. The deck at the beach is a nice touch. I took the kayak out and explored the shore a little way in each direction. Washburn is great, we loved being between Ashland and Bayfield. Breakfast at Coco’s was delicious. We will 100% be back!!!

Nice place

Well equipped home, great location to hiking, clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed morning coffee on the screened porch, family dinners and game nights around the dining room table and watched a storm over the lake from the beach. Only addition we would add would be window coverings in the kitchen and living room. Area isn’t that populated but from 6pm on, you’re in a fish bowl. I understand the view is one not to be covered during the day but just made us feel a bit unnerved. Owners were very responsive to questions prior to arrival.

South Shore Beauty

This property is gorgeous and perfect for a family trip! My husband and I were travelling with our 2 adult sons, and everyone had their own room. One of the rooms had twin beds, so it would work with younger kids as well. The kitchen had everything in it we could imagine needing, which was great as we really like to cook. The view is phenomenal! Absolutely gorgeous remodel and decor. We were disappointed that the fireplace was not a working fireplace, but there is a fire pit. Also, the washer and dryer are very noisy, so I would recommend not starting load if you are trying to get kids to sleep. But seriously, are those even complaints? We would absolutely stay again! The only thing that would make it better is a pullout couch and flexibility in numbers of adults/kids so we could have all 3 adult kids (one with a spouse) and 2 young grandkids join us. We highly recommend this VRBO!

Not for handicap, main bath 2nd floor no rails to get into a high tub no walk in shower.

This property is not suitable for handicap or séniors, no walk in shower bathtub too high no non slip strips on 2nd floor or handles to get in and out. No chairs in bedrooms. TV too complicated to work and poor programming was like staying in a hotel. owner helpful in fixing heat. We left a list of items and things needed in property and recommendations. Owner very nice and helpful

I wish we didn’t have to leave! Ha! This was our second stay at this amazing house (in an amazing location)! The listing is accurate. The view can’t be beat and there are all kinds of fun amenities like a couple kayaks and a fire pit. Washburn is a great little place with some yummy food options including Coco’s, The Fat Radish, and a wood fired pizza place. Bayfield and Ashland are each about 15 min away making this house really convenient to the whole area. Thanks for a great stay! We’ll be back!!

Perfect Lake Superior stay

Perfect for six. Beautiful views, blanket game is top notch, the screened in porch is a lovely place to read and relax, very clean, well stocked kitchen, and great outdoor options. Saw multiple eagles, heard the lions at night, beautiful sunrise views. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing stay!
