Buck Ridge is a true rustic cabin with plenty of character, warm wood throughout, Western-inspired décor, and comfortable spaces for relaxing after a day of exploring. Incredible Cabin in the Woods

The cabin exceeded our expectations! It had so much character, the wildlife and seeing the deer, the horses, the chickens, ducks, and the surroundings were beautiful! It was clean, cozy, and relaxing! The perfect stay on our adventure throufhout Montana!

Absolutely amazing!

My boyfriend and I just adored the location and cabin. We got to see deer all around and got to enjoy the three dogs that came to say hi! Such a wonderful experience and we were able to communicate questions with the host very easily. We will absolutely be back!

Our Story

We’re Tammy and Alex, and we love sharing our little piece of Montana with others. Buck Ridge Cabin is part of our property, surrounded by tall pines, wildlife, and the peaceful atmosphere that made us fall in love with this area.

We enjoy country life, caring for our animals, working on our properties, and continually finding new ways to make the cabins more comfortable and inviting. You’ll often find us working on a project somewhere nearby. There’s usually something being built, planted, painted, or improved!

Hospitality has always been important to us, and we want Buck Ridge to feel less like a rental and more like your own little Montana cabin while you’re here. We love hearing about our guests’ adventures, seeing them enjoy the wildlife, and welcoming familiar faces back for another stay.

We hope you’ll slow down, enjoy a cup of coffee among the pines, watch for the deer, gather around the fire, and make some wonderful Montana memories of your own.

Why they chose this property

We chose the Rogers Lake area because it offers the peaceful, wild side of Montana we love while still being close to Kalispell, Whitefish and Glacier National Park. Buck Ridge Log Cabin sits among towering Ponderosa pines, where deer, wild turkeys and birds are part of the everyday scenery.

Rogers Lake and nearby trails are within walking distance, with opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, fishing and exploring the surrounding woods and public lands. We especially love the quiet mornings, cool mountain evenings, wildlife and the feeling of being tucked away from the busy world.

It’s a wonderful home base for exploring northwest Montana, but some of our favorite moments are simply sitting on the porch, listening to the forest and enjoying the slower pace of Montana life.

What makes this property unique

Buck Ridge isn’t a fancy resort cabin. It’s an authentic little Montana log cabin tucked beneath towering Ponderosa pines. We hand-sanded and chinked the cabin ourselves and added the loft and kitchen over the years, giving it a character all its own.

What makes it special is the setting: deer and wild turkeys wandering through, horses on the property, quiet mornings on the porch, nearby Rogers Lake and trails just waiting to be explored. You can spend the day at Glacier or Whitefish, then come home to a peaceful cabin in the woods, grill dinner, sit by the fire and enjoy a true taste of Montana life.
