Cute place, decorated beautiful! The bathroom is very nice and lots of extras (showers steamers, sugar scrubs, shampoo and conditioner and razors) The bed is beautiful but creaks every time you move. It’s comfy if you like a soft bed. The rugs are in the way of closing the door. There is no front door you have to get out and go in and out through a garage door. But the checkin was easy and the host was responsive.

Hello and welcome!
I’m Heather, a proud local of the beautiful Flathead Valley here in Northwest Montana, and the founder of Petal + Pine — a peaceful retreat designed to help travelers recharge and reconnect with nature. Nestled in Kalispell, Montana, Petal + Pine is a brand-new space where guests from all over the world can enjoy the serenity, adventure, and charm of Big Sky Country.

As someone who loves to travel myself — both across the U.S. and abroad — I understand how important it is to find a space that feels welcoming, restful, and intentional. That’s exactly what I’ve created here. Whether you’re visiting Glacier National Park, exploring nearby Flathead Lake, hiking Mount Aeneas, or taking in the stunning scenery at Volunteer Park, you’ll find Petal + Pine to be a perfect base for your adventures.

I take pride in offering thoughtful touches, peaceful surroundings, and a space where guests truly feel at home. I’m always happy to provide custom local recommendations — whether you’re here for hiking, lake days, skiing, photography, or just unplugging and relaxing. I love when guests reach out with specific interests so I can help tailor their trip to everything the valley has to offer.

It’s an honor to host people from all walks of life, and I’m deeply grateful for every guest who chooses to stay. My hope is that you’ll leave Petal + Pine feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning your next visit.

Why they chose this property

This peaceful Kalispell vacation rental is located just off 3 Mile Drive in one of the most desirable and conveniently located neighborhoods in the Flathead Valley. It’s not just a great location—it’s a place filled with personal meaning. I grew up spending summers here, visiting the large family home at the end of the cul-de-sac. I have vivid memories of playing in the wide green lawn, bouncing on a trampoline under the trees, and picking fresh raspberries from the garden. It’s a neighborhood full of charm, shade, and space—anchored by towering pine trees and a grand maple that explodes with color in the fall.

One of my favorite details is the U-shaped pebble driveway—it’s both practical and full of rustic Montana character. Guests often comment on the peaceful, welcoming feel of the property and the natural beauty all around. It feels like a hidden retreat, yet it’s just minutes from everything.

This safe, quiet neighborhood offers incredibly easy access to the US-93 Bypass, making it an ideal home base for exploring Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Whitefish, Lakeside, and Bigfork. Whether you’re planning a day of hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, or dining out, everything is within reach. Guests love being just minutes from local coffee shops, breweries, restaurants, boutique shopping, and seasonal farmers markets. Nearby trailheads and outdoor spaces also offer quick access to nature without sacrificing convenience.

Whether you’re here for adventure or relaxation, this neighborhood offers the perfect balance of location, comfort, and Montana beauty—making it a true destination in itself.

What makes this property unique

What makes this property truly unique is the peaceful atmosphere, intentional design, and the way it invites guests to slow down and reconnect—with themselves, their loved ones, and the surrounding beauty of Montana. Nestled on approximately one acre in Kalispell’s scenic Flathead Valley, this cozy cottage is surrounded by lush lawns, native wildflowers, mature gardens, and two large apple trees that bloom seasonally. Guests love the natural setting, which feels both private and deeply connected to the Montana landscape.

Inside, the cottage was thoughtfully designed using a peaceful, calming palette of colors and textures to promote rest and relaxation. From the handcrafted blue spruce breakfast nook—built by a local artisan—to the well-equipped kitchen and cozy living space, every corner has been curated with care. There’s a spacious one-car garage, full laundry facilities, and room to reset after a long day of exploring Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, or local trails. The cottage is ideal for couples, solo travelers, small families, and remote workers, offering Wi-Fi and quiet surroundings.

Guests often comment on how clean, comfortable, and welcoming the space feels—and many express their desire to return. A locally inspired welcome basket greets each guest upon arrival, filled with thoughtful touches to ease your travel day. As a local host, I also offer personalized recommendations for hidden gems, scenic spots, and seasonal events that are hard to find without insider knowledge.

This space is more than just a place to stay—it’s a labor of love, created with the intention of offering guests a restorative and memorable Montana experience. I can’t wait to hear from you!
