Everything about our stay was perfect from the location on Long Island Sound to the weather. We could not ask for anything better. Property was very clean and equipped to a "T." Centralize location allowed access to all of our plans (restaurants, Mystic Aquarium, Essex Steamtrain & Cruise, Ivoryton Playhouse, East Haddam Opera House) and family in Connecticut.

Beach in Old Saybrook, CT

We throughly enjoyed our time at this centrally located Beach House in Old Saybrook, CT. Short walk to a nice private beach. The house was very well taken care and Debbie was a pleasure to work with. Lots of good restaurants and activities close by.

The house is beautiful. It's one house away from the beach, and the view of the Sound is lovely. The kitchen had every gadget we needed, including a brand spankin' new refrigerator with ice maker, a dishwasher, and a bunch of spices and coffee to get us started. All the neighbors were super friendly. And our host, Debbie, was proactive in reaching out to see if there was anything we needed. But as it turns out, she truly thought of everything. This place is a dream. Thank you, Debbie, for providing such a perfect place to get together and reminisce about the Indiantown we grew up in. Alas! The wall of honeysuckle by Baby Beach is no longer there. But you have a bunny in your yard that visited us daily! We'll be back. Thank you. SIX stars!

Christmas Stay

Very nice well equipped VRBO. Beautiful area to walk in and lovely views at sunrise and sunset. Old Saybrook and shoreline area lovely place to stay at Christmas and any time of year. It was a very comfy/ cosy house !

Excellent!

This property is everything as advertised and more. Clean, comfortable and amazing views. Debbie was very responsive, although we needed nothing during our stay. Walking this beach community is awesome and access to the private beach area is very close. We will stay here again.

Perfect Beach Getaway – Exceeded Expectations!

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The water views are absolutely stunning, and it’s just a very short walk to a beautiful, clean beach. We loved spending our days soaking up the sun and enjoying the ocean, then winding down in the evenings in the comfortable, well-kept house. Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was also very responsive and easy to communicate with. This place truly exceeded our expectations—we can’t wait to come back!

Lovely house in peaceful neighborhood. Walk to beach or sit on the deck and look out at the Sound.

Clean, very well-equipped and wonderful location. Owner was very helpful and great to work with. Such a friendly neighborhood! Loved taking our little grandson for a golf cart ride to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay.
