This is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. It is so peaceful nestled a beautifully quiet part of the Adirondacks with a view of Bass Lake. Mary, the host, is extremely easy to work with.

The fire pit overlooking the small lake is great. With access to kayaks etc. layout is a little different from the impression you get with the photos but the best part is lake side for sure.

My group of six our dog Loki had a wonderful time here! Plenty of space for us all and the property was beautiful. The private beach access space was so peaceful with the fire pit looking out onto the water and Loki tuckered himself out zooming around in and out of the water! We will definitely be coming back!

If you are looking for a rustic, relaxing, quiet stay to unwind and breath in the crisp, clean mountain air, then you NEED to stay here! The beds are comfy, the cabin is rustic and warm. The front porch looks over the water and when you wake up in the morning and the sun is streaming into the windows, you make a cup of coffee and then stroll out onto the porch to sit and take in all the sounds of the woods around you while gazing out over the view and you sink into your chair and just breath in and realize how beautiful this world is! This is the place to do that! We stayed and visited Lake Placid and then the Wild Center and it was the perfect spot to unwind after. Check-in and out was a breeze and communication was wonderful. Would stay here again for sure! Thank you! :)

Everything was great, except we didn't have the email details saved, when we arrived we didn't have the access code and didn't have a signal , so we had to drive until we had a signal. Live and learn. We had a great time.

We found the cabin to be charming but definitely rustic. It is a nice property but it could be so much better with some TLC. The host was very accommodating when I messaged to say we would be arriving after dark and could she leave a light on.

We had a beautiful stay at the cabin. The leaves were newly turning and it is close to many places for a walk in the woods. We hiked to the loom lake fire tower, kayaked, made marshmallows and enjoyed the outdoors. Also found a large amount of chicken of the woods mushrooms in the woods behind the cabin!

Nice,secluded and picturesque

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful, we ventured on the lake, did some fishing, very , very relaxing, we had our dog with us, and he had a great time, he even met some local dogs and was great experience, (he’s a schnoodle) just wanna say it was a great time, definitely come back again
