Great location and a lot of what you need is within walking distance. The family had a great time and would stay there again. Boston is a wonderful city with so much to see and do. Thanks for the stay.
Location was good and property was well maintained. The only issue was the lack of internet and couldn't get a response from host in spite of repeated messages.
We really enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful home and well appointed. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. Just a small warning, if you have mobility issues there are steep stairs in the house.
Beautiful property and well kept apartment. Our only concern was not having an upstairs bathroom and having to negotiate the steep steps throughout our stay.
I used to live in JP, so jumped when I saw this available. It's an easy walk to everything you could want in the Jamaica Plains neighborhood- and a quick train ride to everything else Boston has to offer. We brought our adult, disabled son to see Boston for the first time and we all loved it. Highly recommended.
Our five nights/days in this beautiful 3 bedroom/ 1 bath apartment were wonderful, and I would be very happy to return in the future. Tucked into the back upper stories of a beautiful classic Victorian house and only a short walk both west to bustling Centre St and northeast to the Green St orange line MBTA station, it is in a perfect, quiet location for enjoying Jamaica Plain and all of Boston. Teeming with charm, artistic style and architectural character, the decor is so pretty and inviting. I loved the tasteful design choices (colors, fabrics, finishes, furnishings and art) which create an overall visually stunning and distinctive vibe! The hosts have thought of everything to maximize comfort and livability, too, and although we didn’t need any assistance, our few questions were answered immediately. We felt welcomed and appreciated, but were allowed complete privacy as well.
I was worried about the steep stairs outside and inside, but sturdy railings, carpet with traction and good motion-sensitive lighting made them a non-issue for us and our four young adult children. The A/C units kept both levels very cool despite the intense July heat.
Easily a five star experience I hope to repeat!
