Carpet in upstairs hallway was dirty, bathroom dirty, yellow jacket hive over back door making it impossible to use back door and hot tub, the lock box was broken and couldn’t put key back inside when we left, mouse droppings in kitchen, and kitchen sink disposal clogged and broken.

The rooms are nice and kitchen has lots of supplies! Good distance to the trails as well as being walkable to ice cream and other shops. Yard could be kept up more but the hot tub was great.

Hocking Hills Stay

Great stay at Hocking Hills Escape. The only downside was the neighborhood--but it wasn't that bad. Good communication with the owner.

There were mouse droppings in amongst the silverware in the drawer. Host did not respond for over 12hrs, only after I had to contact VRBO directly

Other then the garbage disposal not working the stay was great. Hot tub and home was clean and plenty of towels. Thanks for having us!

Nice old charm

The house was charming and clean. It was located close to downtown and the state park. The hottub was warm, but could have been cleaner. Us girls enjoyed our stay.

Great home!

Our stay was great, and the process was so easy. Jen and Phil answered all my questions in a timely manner. The house was amazing and very "home" feeling. The beds were definitely comfortable and it was well worth the money. We will book again, when we come that way.

Clean home, served it’s purpose!

House was fairly priced. It is situated in a neighborhood, but backyard is fenced for privacy. The home has character and was very clean. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of hiking.

Beautiful old house

We loved our stay in this beautiful old house! The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking! All of the bedrooms and also the bathroom are upstairs. My mom did have a little trouble with that, but we would still stay here again.

The inside of the house is beautiful. There are a few floor boards that feel like they’re going to give out from under you, but it’s an old house. A mouse ran through the living room on our first night. Sent a message to the host, but didn’t hear back. The hot tub water was green and smelly. Another message was sent. We didn’t hear from the owner until we reached out to VRBO. We were told that he didn’t know about the mice and he would get someone out to look at the hot tub, but no one came. Plenty of dishes and cookware for the basics, family dining table, comfortable beds.
