We had a wonderful stay, they did some updates since we stayed this time last year & it looks great! Always so peaceful & wonderful place to relax, fish & enjoy the water. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful quiet get away next to the water!
We had a great time at the cabin, which was actually built by my grandfather. It served as a family gathering place for decades until a family dispute required us to sell it.
I miss the cabin my grandfather named Le’Arpent, a Cajun term for “about an acre”.
The house is quaint, calm, and has a nice view of and access to the lake. We loved the kayaks!
My boyfriend & I took our kayaks & went cat fishing! House was good, clean & in order. Trees were beautiful & private dock was nice! Would recommend this property!
Tucked away in a corner of a big lake, there is little cabin with all the amenities necessary to have a nice quiet getaway from all the hustle and bustle of every day life.
The house is just a seen in the pictures. The supplies for everything were all there. I always bring paper goods and spices for cooking. I didn't need any of it the house had plenty of everything. Access to the lake was very easy and the dock was nice. We caught 21 fish total. None were keepers but we had fun catching them. If we are ever back in the area we will stay here again.
Absolutely loved staying in this cute house. Grandson loved the kayaks and paddle boat and fire at night. He also enjoyed the games at night. We played sorry and jinga and just enjoyed family time. The lake is beautiful and the property is absolutely beautiful
While our youngest daughter was at FlipFedt in Crossville, we spent a great couple days relaxing by the lake. My husband, my 16 year old daughter and her friend and I loved hanging by the lake in the rock, kayaking and paddle boating. We took a short drive and explored a beautiful waterfall. Our stay was clean and had all the essentials we might need.
If you want time by the lake with some peace and serenity, we highly recommend Bluegill Bay. The house is perfect for two to four people (two bedrooms, one bath). Everything was neat and clean upon our arrival. The kitchen is very functional with everything we needed to fix meals on the premises. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels available for our stay. Access to the washer/dryer was excellent and helped us to avoid over packing (well... just a little over packing may have happened).
The deck and the lake are definitely the "ahhh" centerpieces to the property. We spent nearly every morning on the deck reading and drinking coffee while listening to a chorus of amazing birds and watching the fish jump. The occasional deer family sauntered through the property and one doe even came with her twins. Access to the lake is a very short walk down the back yard.
We brought our kayaks and spent much time on the lake. We were a little nervous that lake may get too busy and rough on a summer weekend. However, we were happy to find that even when lake was at its busiest, it was still very enjoyable to paddle. We had a great time exploring around the nearby islands and appreciating the lovely homes around the lake's shore.
The dock was a wonderful place to hang out. We could take our pick: 1) Sit in the sun and soak up some rays on the dock. OR 2) Put the lawn chairs on the shore and enjoy the wonderful old shade trees. We did a little of both! The water was crystal clear and quite warm.
Our interactions with the property managers were friendly and professional. They answered our questions and addressed any needs with a smile. They even brought us a little gift at the end of our stay. (we think it was actually because we told them we were never leaving and they just wanted to make sure... haha). Many thanks! We hope to come back.
Super cute little "bungalow" with nice upgrades. We joined our friends at an adjoining neighborhood, so didn't spend too much time at the house. However, it was clean, quite, and we felt we had privacy. The easy access to the lake was awesome. It's pretty dark at night, so I put out a few solar lights in able to find our way back at night! The new deck that was recently built, it is nice upgrade. We plan to stay there again!!
