Had a group of friends to the house for a long weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the amenities of this house! Loved the hot tub, access to nearby wineries, and pet-friendly nature! Great common space on the main and lower levels. Gorgeous views from the balcony. Would absolutely return!

This house was a great space for our family reunion get away. Great open kitchen / living room space for conversation. We loved playing the collection of old records, sunset was amazing and the pool table offered plenty of wholesome family competition.

Excellent cabin stay

We had a lovely time staying at David's cabin! It is convenient to DC and local attractions, very spacious, and clean. Wonderful views, with fun amenities like hot tub, pool table, record player, and nice kitchen.

Great Stay

We had a great stay here for a family wedding. With family coming in all across the country, the house was more than accommodating for anyone who wanted to enjoy the outdoors, soak in the hot tub or just hang out inside. It had it all! The beds were especially comfy!

This was our second fall getaway at the Chalet. David is a wonderful host and very responsive. The Chalet is in a beautiful location and is well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. The sunsets are wonderful and the deer grazed in the yard for three days and the boys caught fish in the Shenadoah this year. We are very grateful that our fur babies could come too. Looking forward to the third October family getaway at the Chalet.

Lots to do - lovely house

We (three generations) thoroughly enjoyed our three nights over Christmas. The house has cery comfortable areas for the whole family to cook, eat, play games and watch TV. I would definitely recommend it and the host was very communicative and helpful.

A beautiful place to gather

We spent the weekend here to have a family reunion. It was a great space with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the comfortable rooms and large kitchen. We ate on the deck too! The place was very clean and the host super accommodating. Thanks so much!

Perfect Mountain Views

The home is spacious and well stocked. Lots of privacy with 3 BRs upstairs and 2 BRs downstairs. Hot tub was perfect! We cooked every meal at the house because we never wanted to leave! Great host!!

Great stay

I recently stayed at this property for a weekend with a few friends. The property was great and had everything we needed. All amenities were very clean and nice, and there were amazing views right from the living room and deck. There was plenty of space and every detail was well thought out. It's convenient to hiking and the town of Front Royal. I highly recommend this property, and would stay again if in the area.

Getaway with my husband

David’s home was great! The views are amazing and the house very well stocked with anything you need. Bed was very comfortable and we also enjoyed the pool table. Definitely recommend for a larger family group, there’s a lot of room and communication with David is spot on if we had any questions. We had a wonderful time in Virginia!
