This property is PERFECT! If anything the listing sells it a bit short. Location: excellent spot in the Latin quarter. Very walkable to major attractions and very close to plenty of cafés and restaurants. Quiet side street so you don’t get much noise. Complex is nice as well. Property: This is a ground-level apartment right outside a courtyard. The layout is unique and I didn’t quite understand it until I was there. The main floor has an entry area for coats and shoes, and then the combined kitchen/living area. Off of that are two bedrooms, each with a queen and a twin. There is a toilet and a shower in separate hallway rooms on this level. The BIG bonus to this property is the ample basement. There are two full bathrooms and a large living/game area down here. We went in January and it was very cool down there, but the the bathrooms had heated floors which was lovely. I would think this spot would be cool in the summers. We would rent again in a heartbeat. Was perfect for a family of 4–if you use the basement you could easily accommodate more.
Clean. Lots of sleeping beds but a lot are pull out couches. Great location on edge of Latin Quarter. Needs some finishing touches - toilet paper holders, shelves in bathrooms, closets/hangers for clothes, mirrors. But overall good value.
This apartment was very large and fully appointed. It's location on 1/2 a block from the Seine and between Notre Dame and the Louvre was perfect. Lots to do near by. I think it is useful to clarify the bath and sleeping arrangement. On the ground floor is the kitchen/dining room with one pull out sofa. There are also 2 bedrooms (1 queen and a single bed in each) and one split bathroom, meaning that the toilet is in a different room than the sink and shower. Downstairs in basically a playroom with 2 pull out couches and 2 full bathrooms.
Flat was in a great location, near restaurants, shopping, and the Seine. It worked great for our family of 5. Only downside was there was a leak in the flat, apparently from the air conditioning unit. The floor was soft and warped, and ultimately they had to shut off the AC. That was disappointing as that was a key feature we wanted in our rental. When I asked to get it fixed, they sent me a phone number and said I would get farther than they would. Very disappointing. Overall, a nice apartment in a great location.
The location in this property is outstanding!! It could sleep a lot of people. For the location it is pretty quiet. I would rent again knowing what I now know! The check in was not good. We emailed several times to ask to pay for an early check in. We were told eventually (day of) this was not possible. However they have a place to drop your luggage. Why isn’t disclosed is that this luggage drop is far (think a 30 and 40 min uber or a significant metro ride). It would have worked much better to let us drop pir luggage while they were cleaning with the housekeeper. This drop off site is not convenient to the property. And at 4 pm after an international flight it’s bad. Find a luggage drop off closer as the key situation is a code and a lockbox you don’t need to be with them in person. So no need to use their luggage drop off place! This could have easily been communicated. It was really a hassle. Next thing if you are traveling with older people or small kids know that there are stairs inside the apartment that are spiral. There is an opening and no handrail. It’s not safe especially for older adults or kids. Honestly I would still recommend this place due to the outstanding location and relative quiet (it is Paris downtown - please don’t expect silence!) but know that check in isn’t great.
