AMAZING BEACHFRONT PROPERTY

I absolutely love this place. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The whole place was well-kept and clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who comes to Galveston. It is across the street from the beach and has a pool as well. It was so much fun!

Dirty

Out dated but did the job for the most-part. Most-of the dishes were dirty so we had to clean all dishes the first day. Sand on the floors when we checked in. Old and breaking items in the unit like the beds and shower knob. This unit doesn’t have a washer or dryer so you have to use the community washers and there is no coin machine to get quarters and the front office is always out of quarters.

Quick getaway

Love casa Del Mar we normally stay with a different owner but his property had already been booked. So comparing the two I have to say I was surprised to not find a toaster in this condo (they cost 9.95 I had to buy one!!) and there were no games, water toys etc., and no extra towels For the beach. And when we got to the room it was 77 degrees in the room. But once we learned not all Condo Owners are the same with what is offered it was a great stay!!! Would stay here again property owner very attentive to messages. Thanks for a reasonable cheap getaway at a great location!!! Room was clean and we had a blast!!

The stay was overall good. But there a few things I would like to address. First I called and texted several different times and still never received batteries for the bedroom Remote. The cleaners left a picture on the side of the bed. Not sure how they didn't notice it it was able to make the bed but presentation is everything. The silverware drawer had everything thrown in there and there were burnt and dirty utensils inside.

Great location but…

The location is great because it’s near the beach area, fishing pier, grocery stores and fast food chain. An issue was encountered during our stay. The electric stove was not working. The issue was raised to the management on the first day of our 4 days stay and I received an instruction to wait for their local staff to fix the issue but unfortunately no one showed up and fixed the issue. It was disappointing because we were not able to use the stove during our stay. Also the microwave is rusty.

The location is great, definitely walking distance to the beach. They have two beautiful pools on property. The room was clean, looked just like the pictures, and my son and I loved it! We'll definitely stay there again when we come back! (Only thing is I couldn't watch Hulu or Netflix without signing in & I don't have an account, but that's OK!🤣)

Good but needs some work

The place was clean and we felt safe there. The big bed was comfy, the bunks were more like a toddler bed mattress. They crunched when you move, and were hard. The sofa was very old and outdated. And the sofa bed just did not work at all. It was broken and so some kids slept on the floor. For the price you pay here, you would at least expect to get what was promised and that was it sleeps 6.

The condo was great perfect for a family of 4. The ac filter was so dirty the air wouldn't blow very cold. Only one key. The plug plates were falling off if you have little ones. Bed was great. Stove knob broken. Door handle broken for bathroom. Plenty of towels and things you needed.
