Absolutely loved our stay, it was perfect for what our family needed it for, it slept me and my fiancé and our 7 and 5 year old just fine along with our two dachshunds! Thanks again to the wonderful hosts!
Had a great time in this spot! Location is great! Just 15 minutes from downtown Logan and a half hour from Hocking Hills State Park. Has a great set up with a fire pit, parking and the owner was great with anything we needed!

It was perfect for what we wanted. Very small though so I wouldn’t plan on more than 2 people

Glad you had a good time! Thanks for staying with us! Yes, small but sometimes thats the fun in camping! The closeness of everyone enjoying themselves making memories :-) We are almost done with our 35ft school bus conversion--so be on the lookout next time you come down :-)

Eric! THANK YOU for your review & stay! Come back anytime!
We had an excellent stay at this Bigfoot themed camper. It is perfect for a couple. We had a preteen with us and there was still enough room. It was just what we needed for a perfect weekend. Our hosts communicated well and even left us some yummy snacks. We had a great time.

Lori, thank you for your review & stay! Super glad you had a great time! We love to hear it!!
Have a great time in Hocking Hills. This place was the perfect 2 person/couple get away rental for anyone wanted to get out of town and go hiking. Property managers were great and had valuable information about the area and surrounding areas. This rental made our weekend get away what it was. Awesome! Will be booking this rental again in the future!

We needed a place to eat, shower, and sleep. The owners were very nice and accommodating. If you forget something, it’s probably already there. Perfect for a small family!

Hey Jeremy! Thanks for your kind review & stay! We would love to host you again if you’re ever in the area! Take care!
We were just looking for something a step up from a tent and this hit the mark. Owners were great and camper was well stocked. Got chilly at night, but the included heater worked great. Was close to Hocking Hills trails, as well as Wayne National Forest.

Miranda, thank you for your stay & kind review! We love HHs and WNF!
Inside was very clean and cute. We had everything we needed. Fire pit was nice. Close to Hiking trails. Loved the inside of the school bus. The renters let us take a peek.
The RV was as described and cute! Communication with the owners was excellent - I brought up a suggestion and they replied immediately about making that improvement. They even supplied snacks for both the humans and dog!

Thank you for your stay & kind review! We have ordered the mattress protector you suggested that would be more comfortable for future guest! Thx again!
We had a great stay. Location was okay for what we were there for. We are not campers and were trying it out for the first time. Let's say it was a bit cramped for the two of us and the bed was too soft, but that's me being fussy. Communication with the host was very good and timely.
The owners were very kind to allow us a 1 night stay and answered questions quickly. It was just the right size for my husband, dog & I but would have been a tight squeeze with any more people. Comfy bed & was nice to have little treats waiting for us. Just located in a backyard setting, but close to Hocking Hills & restaurants. Perfect if you just need a place to stay while hiking.
This was super cute and cozy, we wanted to get away for weekend anniversary and not kill the bank account. Very quiet relaxing, little trail behind it was nice as well. We had 2 small dogs and was great for them as well. James was very quick to respond when needed something or asked questions. Next time we stay gonna try out the Skoolie!.

Easy check in-had trouble with lock but owner came right over and helped!
I think we are just a little too old for camper! Wonderful owners-bed needs new mattress, but everything needed was there!

Thank you for your stay and kind review! The bed and mattress is brand new but next year we are planning on putting a traditional full size frame in there so it sits up a little higher :-)
Great little camper that was perfect for our needs. Quaint & clean. Cute sasquatch decorations. Hosts went above & beyond (left us snacks & bottled water) & were very easy to get in touch with. Conveniently located between 2 different trailheads for us to go 4-wheeling. We would have no problem staying again if we go back to that area.

Georgie! Thank you for the kind review! We think Sasquatch would approve as well! It is quite the "perfect" area/spot to stay if coming to ride Wayne National Forest trails! We are glad you enjoyed yourself! We'd gladly have ya back anytime!
About the host
Hosted by James
We are a young family in our (30s) & grew up 5 miles from here. We bought this property in 2020 as a (starter home) & put in a TON of work to get it where it is now! We have a 3yr old named Zola, an 8mo old named Dallas that live here. We truly enjoy hosting because we want to share our little slice of Hocking Hills Paradise with others. Providing our short term rentals allows us to spend more precious time with our children as well as teach them life lessons along the way. We are very grateful for our guest knowing that without them, our family situation wouldn’t be/look the same.
Why they chose this property
Carbon Hill is a very small, close knit community. Most of everyone knows everybody here. We look out for one another. It’s a beautiful & peaceful place to life & raise children. I could of said all of this by just saying “ TRUE SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY IN SOUTHEASTERN OHIO”
What makes this property unique
Creativity. Thinking outside of the box. A retro but updated cozy camper & a pretty unique converted school bus/camper/cabin!
