This amazing property located on top of a mountain ridge in Atenas Costa Rica, in a exclusive gated community called Pica Flora ,surrounded by exhilarating and prolonged views of tropical reserve.
This is the perfect vacation if you want to enjoy Costa Rica’s nature from all types of birds, butterflies, tropical gardens with panoramic views, pictures can’t make justice to this magical peace of heaven. The house is fully equipped with everything that you might need from linens to cookware, essentials. The property is located about just about a mile outside of Atenas downtown, where you can either ride or take a walk to the town market, restaurants, coffe shops, souvenir stores, etc
The property has two bedrooms. Should just be “one bedroom has a king, one a queen and the third can be either a king or three twins. There is a separate casita with one bedroom, bath kitchenette and its own small balcony.”casita available for parties of 9 or more

Photos do not do this home justice. The layout and breezes flowing through make for a breathtaking experience that is inspiring and relaxing all at once. Pica Flora is a fantastic little neighborhood just up the hill from the town center. Everything you needed is supplied and the people attending to the house are kind, thoughtful and responsive. We’ve already booked our next stay!

This villa is even more beautiful than the listing suggests! Very quiet, private neighborhood. Lots of room and amenities, less than 10 minute drive to multiple grocery stores, and centrally located to a lot of things. Would absolutely stay here again! Definitely book a massage at the Retreat nearby

Great location with wonderful privacy. Close to town. We chose not to have a car. We used a transfer from/to the airport and uber the rest of the time. The home is beautiful and has everything you need for cooking. Amazing views.

Beautiful upscale Atenas property

Great home in the exclusive & gated Pica Flora community. The home has a nice pool, beautiful primary suite and open living area. We really enjoyed the outdoor living spaces as well. Excellent stay.

Amazing gateaway

It was a fantastic place to disconnect and enjoy our time as a family. There were a lot of sitting areas around the house that we took advantage of as we stayed 8 nights. We felt like we were in our own house! We expect to comeback soon...

Great house with a superb view

My wife and I were very pleased with the house in general. It was very clean and the kitchen had all pots and pans, etc... needed for our needs. The location and the view is awesome, We made several day trips during our 2 weeks stay to Monteverde, Arenal, Jaco and more. The only one complaint I have is the house could have some maintenance done to repair broken screen door (one day we found a small tarantula in the kitchen and a scorpion in the main bathroom). Overall, we loved the house, the pool, the view, the birds and more. We would definitely go back to this house if we return to Costa Rica.

Wonderful Retreat

My family, 4 adults, really enjoyed staying this beautiful home. The home was clean and well furnished. The first day we arrived it was after sunset and I wasn't sure if there was water in the pool since the water was so clear! There are neighbors close by but you wouldn't know it because of the vegetation that makes the home very private. There are 3 patios around the outside of the home that are wonderful for all times of the day. The tankless water heater provides good hot water but as is advised only 1 shower at a time, really not a problem. Let's not forget, as is the case in all of Costa Rica, drinking tap water is not a problem. This home is in a gated community and there is a gated entrance to the home too. It is also located very close to Atenas with an abundance of restaurants, grocery stores, and other shopping. Access to HWY 27 is also close by which provides access to many great places to visit in the area. You won't be disappointed in staying at this home.

Pica Flora never Disappoints !

The home is open and airy. We have been to this neighborhood a few times and love the area above the town of Atenas. The bedrooms and beds were excellent. tons of towels, and pool supplies. So many appliances in the well stocked kitchen. The negatives are some of the main fans/lights didn’t work. Lack of AC options for this price point was disappointing. Rooms should be better equipped with floor fans for extra circulation. The black out curtains were perfect in the bedrooms. They just restrict airflow so there is a trade off there. The outdoor dining patios are amazing. So many places to sit and read, drink coffee and enjoy the view. 2 small families could comfortably share the space. Pura vida

Superbe Villa ! Mais...

Problème d'accès à l'arrivée. Aucune réponse du gestionnaire pendant 15 minutes à l'arrivée à la gate. Mauvaise information transmise pour l'accueil. Lavabo sdb qui fuit. Mais pour le reste vue splendide. Piscine superbe. Propreté, grandeur (famille de 4 incluant 2 ados). Wifi impeccable. Vraiment le côté gestion qui est à améliorer. La villa est numero 1. Mais attendez vous à faire de la route si vous voulez visiter du pays !
