This beautifully decorated lake home is right on Lake Webster, and includes a pier with a bench to take in lake views. We also rent out the home across the street that sleeps another 10 - combine the two for a family reunion! The home is clean and cared for with new appointments - a perfect place for family and friends to gather for rest, relaxation, and lake activities. The home is located in Epworth Forest, a short drive from North Webster and Syracuse where you can hunt for antiques, dine in great restaurants, or have fun on the water. We have provided all you will need for a great stay.

Lovely location and nice pontoon available for fishing and cruising. Owner was very helpful. Basement with 2 queen beds has low ceilings (5'10") but very functional.

Peaceful Retreat

Great lake house for families or couples looking to getaway. Picturesque views of Lake Webster, great fishing, and good times around the fire-pit at night. Kurt was a fantastic host and the house had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We look forward to coming back.

Great family vacation!

This house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. Very clean and comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the pontoon boat, fishing off the pier, the fire pit and patio, and of course the amazing view! Kurt is a very good host, ensuring that our check-in and entire stay was satisfactory. And he’s very responsive and easy to reach. We plan on staying here again next year.

Lake get-a-way

Loved the cottage, it was right on the water which is what I wanted! I only had a few days to spend there but it was worth it. The hosts Kurt and Cathy Peterson had thought of everything I could need during my stay. The cottage was clean and well-stocked, there was a pontoon available to rent (I didn’t use it so can’t comment on it) and a couple of kayaks for use as well. The deck had plenty of outdoor seating and an electric canopy/cover to keep shaded. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to use it again next summer!

Great Lakeview Rental

This rental home came with everything you need & more. Kitchen well stocked with everything. Loved having the Reverse Osmosis system for drinking water. Beds were very comfy, very roomy master bedroom & bathroom. Loved the outside deck with electric awning for shade, the firepit, corn hole, 2 kayaks, & especially the swing. The only drawback for some would be the steps down to the water for some since this is on a hill. The owner is prompt to reply if you need something. Highly recommended.

Great Lake Views

The house was very clean, well stock with everything that we needed.. Kurt is a amazing host, answering all of are questions, and available at anytime, we reached out to him.. The home had amazing Lake View`s from the living room, and beautiful sunsets.. We enjoyed the bonfire, roasting marshmallow, and the outdoor grilling.. It was so peaceful, on the lake, everyone was so friendly.. We love watching The Dixie Ferry, and everyone enjoying themselves on the water.. We enjoyed playing board games, and movies night.. Restaurants are right around the corner, from this home.. Kurt gave us a few nice place to go eat, which we did, great food.. Especially Bourbon Pizza.. Will rent again.. Thank You Kurt!

Had a good time everything you need is that your fingertips. The house was very neat and well kept in Furniture was very comfortable. Only small negative thing was the steps down to the pier which were very steep in the handrail needs fixed. we would go again!!!

Great Lake Views

The best lake views from the living room, and also the back deck, it`s so relaxing at this cottage.. The family really enjoyed there time, watching the Dixie Ferry, night time fires, looking up at the stars.. And watching the beautiful sunset.. It was plenty of room for the whole family, very spacious cottage.. Communication with Kurt was great, responds very quickly, very helpful with any and everything.. Will definitely rent it again, love this place, all the neighbors were very friendly as well.. Home is fully stocked with everything that you need.. Thank you for the hospitality Kurt.. Lovely lake living

Kurt’s property is beautiful. The house itself is cozy, has an amazing view of the lake from the living room window, and has lots of options for sleeping arrangements. We have an infant and a toddler, so this worked perfectly for us! Everything was clean when we arrived and the check in was easy breezy! The lake itself is beautiful and the perfect size. I loved staying here and we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely lake house

The house was as described with plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen was well stocked. The view is beautiful and the owner is very responsive to any questions. Parking is a bit tight, we had two trucks that fit and was able to leave the boat trailer at Socks for a small fee so it worked out. Definitely would stay again.

Very well-furnished, well-stocked, and comfortable cottage on the water

This home was perfect for a relaxing family getaway on the lake. Save one communication glitch with the owner, he was very responsive and offered suggestions for activities, supplies, etc. He followed up to make sure all was going well part way through our stay as well. The kitchen was well-stocked, including basic pantry supplies and tupperware, Ziploc bags, etc (easy to forget or have to buy new at rentals). Bed and bathroom amenities were updated and comfortable. We easily could have had another family join us in this cottage because there is enough space to accomodate, but we kept it to ourselves this time :-). The lake was nice and warm and big enough to boat around. The home gets great sun from morning through evening, and the little island in the lake is great kayak distance from the dock for a fun way to explore. The kayaks and floating water mat were great ways to get out on the water, in addition to the optional pontoon boat rental. We would go here again!

Great stay for families!

We stayed here in late June 2021 with my parents, my kids, my brother and his kids. The house was a perfect size for us….4 adults and 4 kids. It was a great family trip! We were able to bring our boat and dock it right in the backyard! The house was not “fancy”, but it was clean and well-appointed, check-in and out was easy, and communication was great before and after our stay. The best part was the location right on the lake as we could swim or boat whenever we wanted to. There were plenty of games and TV available for rainy days too. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!!
