Perfect Christmas Get Away

This property was so clean and just perfect for our family of 6 to enjoy our trip to Florida over Christmas break. The kids loved the pool! It was heated so not too chilly. The linens were great and the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were super comfortable and communication was great with anything we needed before or during our stay. It is short bike ride or walk down to beach and several great restaurants and shops! I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Fantastic stay

My family and I had an amazing stay here and will definitely be back again. First entering when arriving the property was clean and tidy. The pool was a huge hit for the kids and a perfect size for them. It was conveniently located close to the beach. When I needed to get ahold of the homeowner she was quick to reply and so sweet. We actually ended up staying an extra night. Can’t wait to go back!

Great Home In Great Location

We rented this home during spring break for 2 families (4 adults, 3 school-aged kids). We enjoyed our stay very much. The host was easy to work with, great communication. The house is in a great location close to beach, shopping and food. We used the 4 provided bikes but also chose to walk one day. We visit 30A regularly and prefer to be on this end of 30A away from seaside :). The pool was great, especially with the option to heat it. The kids lived in it for the week. We really enjoyed having 2 master suites. The only complaint was slow Internet. On the couple of rainy days we had, it was a struggle to stream movies because it kept buffering. I didn’t complain to the host as this was minor…we were there to unplug, after-all. Highly recommend this house and management company.

A REAL Carefree Cottage!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a treat it was to stay at the Carefree Cottage during our Spring Break this year. We, along with another family, were beyond pleasantly surprised by this fantastic location and home for our families. We had four adults and 4 children so the double master bedrooms were exactly what we needed. The location is within biking distance of the beach but we usually drove to drop off all our gear. We could bike to restaurants and it was a very quick drive to get any groceries or items we needed. The property is very new which was a total bonus. It was incredibly clean, stocked with all the appliances we needed, but could have had a few additional items like cutting boards, trays, etc. however the amazing stove and beautiful kitchen makes up for it. They left 4 bikes, toys for the beach, chairs, you name it. We had it all. The kids loved jumping in the pool at the end of a long day, and the ambience of this location is exactly as it is in the picture. We would definitely travel there again in the future!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best family get together ever!! Even though we had some family members get sick it was still a great time. This house is beautiful and absolutely perfect for multi families! We had 2 sets of grandparents , so the ‘2’ master suites were great and a mom/dad and 2 kids, so joining baths worked out great! Loved the kitchen , eating & living, great for playing games and watching tv together. We rode the 4 bikes everywhere! So fun, easy riding. We did rent a golf cart which was great to haul the beach chairs and toys to the beach!! The kids loved the pool! Would love to do it again!!

The property managers Kelley and Michael were very great to work with and extremely nice. The home itself was immaculate. The pictures on the site do not do it justice. The rooms are large and the beds were extremely comfortable. The home was very clean and has everything you need. It was very nice to have the beach chairs and beach toys for the children. We also enjoyed using the bikes. There were only a few minor issues which were not too bad. The remote controls to several of the TVs did not work properly and had to be reset multiple times. Also the washer machine had to be reset after every other wash. It was easy to reset however it was a nuisance and it took extra time to get our laundry done. Not anything too concerning, just inconvenient. The neighborhood was very quiet and just a short walk from the public beach access. We rented a golf cart which made it very easy to get back-and-forth to the beach. However, we preferred using the beach access off of Spooky Lane over the public beach access as it was less crowded. There are lots of nice restaurants and little shops within walking distance. We especially liked Pecan Jacks, the ice cream was fabulous! We also enjoyed going to South Philly as they have the best Philly cheesesteaks around.

Clean, comfortable and great location!

We loved our week here. The house was clean and we loved having the option to use the downstairs or upstairs master. Easy walk to the beach and close restaurants. We always stopped along the way to get ice cream from the ice cream shop. I didn’t realize before going but there is a beach wagon for you to use. The pool was so nice to have! The only surprise we had was a male pool cleaner show up one day while we were swimming. We didn’t know they were coming so it startled us. Overall I highly recommend staying here!
