Cozy and clean cottage for our family of 4! We have been coming up to the West Wind for years, and this was our first time renting from Kyrstin. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location on Lake Leelanau! Nice private shared beach with the other cottages. Quiet atmosphere with plenty of views! A great home base to explore the peninsula and close to all the other beach towns in the area.

The cottage was immaculate!!! The furnishings were new and comfortable as was the bed. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need to make meals. The patio was large with great chairs as well as a picnic table. The walkway to the door was very workable and easy to get from parking spaces. The tv worked great and the bathroom included towels while sheets were also provided.

We loved having our morning coffee on the patio overlooking Lake Leelanau. The proximity to the lake and the neatly maintained outdoor space were highlights. We had a couple of random problems with how the cleaning crew left the cottage, but Krystin responded immediately and completely took care of the issues. Highly recommended.

Relaxing get away

Cute, cozy cottage with everything we needed. We enjoyed the lake views, shared beach and firepit. The cottage is close to many towns we love to visit. Would love to visit again!

Nice peaceful getaway.

Beautiful yard and lake. Clean accommodations and nicely furnished. The only recommendation would be queen beds in each room if you are with another couple but other than, our stay was great!

Lovely Stay, Great Location

Well priced home right on the lake. We enjoyed swimming on the lake and watching the sunset. Easy check-in and friendly host. Host recommended a hike which we enjoyed. Great location for traveling to Sutton's Bay and Traverse City. Only complaint is 82 Service Fee and 89 Property Damage Protection which did not appear on the listing. Thanks for the great stay!

Family Vacation 2023

My family has been going to the eest wind cabins for over 20 years, and this cabin is one of the best. It was very clean when we got there and stocked with everything we needed, along with lake access, boat docking, and firepits. The owners are super easy to work with and we will definitely be staying here again!

This is the second time we have stayed at this cottage because we find it is very clean, well equipped inside and out and has a beautiful view of the lake and the sunsets. We always come in the Fall and enjoy the beautiful colors across the lake. It is a perfect location for Leland, Suttons Bay Sleeping Bear and traverse City among other locations. We hiked Pyramid point this year and visited Point Betsy Among our normal stops. Being able to relax outside on the patio is especially nice for us. This year we were visited by a pilliated woodpecker, our favorite. We hope to be back again next year.

Leelanau never dissapoints
