Wedding Weekend!

We rented this house for a long weekend. The location was perfect because it was 2 minutes from the Woodbine Mansion Wedding Venue. The home was clean and had the perfect number of bedrooms & bathrooms that we needed for 7 adults. The den area was also large enough to have some extended family over to visit during the weekend. Also, the parking was good for all of our cars (up to 5 sometimes). The home was comfortable and big enough for what we needed. Thank you!

Quick trip to Austin

We took a quick weekend trip to Austin for a sporting event. The house was just as advertised. We were a group of 10 and there were 4 bedrooms, effectively 2 master suites as well as 2 rooms with bunk beds, so we were able to sleep 8 adults/teens comfortably. We also had one toddler who shared one of the 'suites' as well as our 10 year old daughter who slept in the other master suite on a comfy couch we comforted to a bed each night. As we were only in town for a couple of days/nights, we ate out each night, but the kitchen was stocked with supplies if you want to cook on property. There is a nice sitting area out in the backyard that is covered and has a grill if you want to cook out. The living/kitchen/dining area fit all of us to hang out, so although the home isn't huge overall, the shared areas make it feel larger and comfortable for a larger group. The physical location is great as well. Plenty or shopping and restaurants very close by on the north side of Austin, and 20-25 minutes to get downtown (on weekends anyway) if you want to head into Austin proper. Lastly, there was excellent communication from the owner. My son even left some items in a drawer in the bedroom and the owner arranged to FedEx those items back home to us. I

Amazing property, location, AND host!

We absolutely loved Kirk's home. It had everything we required for our month-long temporary home stay. Close to most of the things we do week in and week out. Right there next to downtown Round Rock. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. They have an AMAZING doggie depot park for our little guy, Bowser. The house is immaculately kept up. All new everything. Sonos system was quite a treat. You can play the same music in 5 different zones/rooms or 5 different things streaming out of each zone. We frequently streamed Pandors from the Smart TV in the living room out to the Patio (which is covered and set up with lights, great furniture, a fireplace, fan with mister, and a sweet grille), Master bed and bathroom (separate speakers in each), Dining room, Kitchen, and Living room itself. He has Smart TVs in all the rooms and in the breakfast bar area (6 in total). Dimming lights throughout. I converted the corner bedroom into my office space and his Spectrum wifi held up quite nicely for all the work I had to do while other devices were connected for homeschool and streaming needs. With the keyless smart lock feature for the front door, we had the security we needed to feel absolutely safe all month long. This house was quite perfect for our family of 5 plus mini pin. I would HIGHLY recommend Kirk's Round Rock home for any families who want a nice stay in Downtown Round Rock and still be close to everything else Austin has to offer. We would definitely stay here again if we ever needed a temporary living situation for any length of time.

Dove Creek Oasis is part of the revitalization of Downtown Round Rock. The property has been completely redone in a Clean Modern Style in 2018. Single Level with 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 Full Baths. Large Pecan/Oak trees give it a regal feel. Very close to Historic Old Downtown Round Rock...only 10 minute walk. Easy access to major freeways Interstate 35, Tolls roads 45, 130 and MOPAC with access to downtown Austin and all it has to offer in 20 minutes.
