Welcome to our corner of the world and what a view it is; get ready to kick back and enjoy glorious “Sunset-Memories”from our luxury condominium with a south and west exposure wrap around balcony at the Shores of Panama. Twenty floors above sea level is the perfect escape to the peaceful sound of the waves crashing below and exuberant beach sounds. As an outer corner unit, it's a QUIETER escape from the day to day grind, but provides quick access to the action if you want it.

Settle into this ~1400 square foot condominium boasting three well appointed bedrooms each with it's own ensuite bathroom for you and your family to each have their own space. The Oceanfront Oasis suite has a KING bed and balcony access. Our Seahorse Suite has an ocean view and KING bed, (a twin rollaway and portable crib available). Our Turtle Suite has a queen bed (and a second twin rollaway). Newer gallery series stainless steel appliances and a well stocked kitchen await your culinary skills, but Pineapple Willy's is right next door if you don't feel like washing dishes.

Shores of Panama, a modern 23 story resort with all the amenities you expect from a world class resort, is located right on the sand with 300 ft of private beach frontage. The grand lobby is beautifully appointed with a coffee shop and has been newly remodeled for 2020. Enjoy the 20,000 sq. ft. beach front pool complex with star shaped hot tub, tiki bar, and snack shack. The pool is the largest on the beach with a lagoon feel, zero entry area, dolphin fountains, and seating areas throughout. Enjoy a great workout in the state of the art fitness center or plan a picnic day at the outdoor charcoal grill station. And for the chilly days, the indoor pool & hot tub are just steps from the lobby.

This rental includes 2 parking passes for the two private reserved parking spaces in the parking garage. Parking rules are strictly enforced by the Condo Association. Parking passes are required for all vehicles. Oversized vehicle restrictions apply to the parking garage. Additional parking is available in several offsite parking lots for an additional daily fee.

Minimum rental age 21, exceptions may apply for married couples and military, please inquire. ID IS REQUIRED for rental. No Pets. No smoking or vaping inside condo.

A 4 night minimum stay is required during peak seasons. Complimentary high speed Wi-fi and DirecTV are provided by the COA.

Amazing views

Overall the stay was great and space was good for our family. The place is advertising it can sleep 10, but the Murphy Beds were small and probably not suitable for teenagers. The elevators at the facility are a challenge.

I’m sorry that your expectations were different. We are very clear in our listing that there is a single twin roll away not to exceed 250lbs and a crib. This is the only way that we can list those amenities. That is still ten persons even though they are smaller persons. Id be happy to hear any suggestions as to how we could have been more clear.

Condo was awesome ... views were 2nd to none.. personal amenities were a plus. Bedding was extremely comfortable.Home away from home it was great!! The only bad thing i can say that has nothing to do w the condo... elevators are terrible and parking is a nightmare if you show up with 2 full size trucks. Anything more than a car parking is tight to say the least.

Safety concern

We absolutely loved the property! Great views and very spacious for my whole crew. Would highly recommend to anyone I know! But my only concern is with the main door not having a second type of latch to lock from the inside. With it being on the 20th having no lock from the inside just made my family nervous cause the toddlers kept trying to go out of the front door.

Our door hardware is controlled by the COA and the ability to access it in an emergency. To have further deadbolt locks that do not allow digital access to the property is just not permitted unfortunately.

The perfect Panama City Beach Experience

This Condo is centrally located and has the perfect view off the balcony of Panama City Beach! Beautiful sunsets every night and Dolphins swimming in the morning! Beautiful Views

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Memories. The corner unit offered beautiful panoramic views of the ocean. It was well-stocked and just as described. The building was much larger than I anticipated so elevator wait times were a little long at times and parking was tight if you have a bigger vehicle, but the actual unit was very nice. We just spent more time on property. It was a great place for our family.

Very nice unit, beautiful views

Check in staff was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful when arriving at 2:00am with 6 kids, they made that process very difficult for parking/unloading. The unit itself was great with amazing views. Kids loved the pool, easy beach access. Pineapple Willy’s right next door. Parking can be difficult during peak times here, elevators can get congested easily. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful views

Overall the condo was beautiful. Very clean with great views. Our only complaints were one of the rollout beds was broken/bent so was unusable and second, we wld have preferred blinds or curtains in the living room just for when the sun was shining in. Thirdly, even tho we went in october, it was still so crowded on the beach in front of the condo that it made it hard to find a spot…other than that, it was a great place and wld consider staying again at a less busy time.

Vacation overview

Our unit was wonderful. The view was great. Amenities in room were super. The extras the owner placed saved us from buying unnecessary items. Unit clean and in excellent condition. The elevator situation much to be desired. Rarely were you able to get on on the first try. And very hot. No fan or circulation. Also the number of personal tents in front of the beach rental chairs was horrific. There is a sign not to put tents in front of rentals yet not enforced. Sad. Had a view of other people’s backsides and not the beautiful beach. Our time on the beach was not enjoyable. Please enforce the rule that is clearly posted. We paid good money for our chairs.

Summer Family Trip (w/ teens)

This 3BR condo was absolutely a pleasure for us to stay while in the heart of PCB. Other reviews mentioned the elevators were a challenge, and they were but this condo over shadowed any headaches from the elevators. Clean. Beautiful view. Decorated fantastically and stocked with everything to enjoy the beach, the property and the kitchen (we spent 3 of our 5 nights cooking). Hosts were avail and responsive the entire stay. We brought 4 teenage girls (18,18,17,17) and we all had fun together and separately. It’s a safe property and this condo made it easy to join in with the masses and escape when we wanted some quiet time. Highly recommend!

Great family vacation

Nice property. We really enjoyed our stay. Condo is equipped with all the basic necessities. Few things I didn’t like is the fact the main balcony door was jammed and didn’t open. There was a side door to access the balcony. Me and my family like to open the door sit in the living room area and enjoy beach in front of us and we weren’t able to do that. Besides that everything else inside the condo was good. Elevator situation during Check in and check out is very tedious. Overall it was a great stay. Would recommend

We called a locksmith as soon as we were alerted and they were onsite at the first availability. Unfortunately this was the day of your check out since you were only there for a weekend. Beautiful views, Very Clean, Well Stocked

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed for our stay as the unit had anything we needed....actually more than what we needed! The unit was spacious and accommodated all of us comfortably! The pool area was nice and relaxing and the views were amazing! Elevator wait times were aggravating but the owners of the condo have NO control over this. The elevators are slow but if you plan your comings and goings a little earlier or later than peak times you are good. Just be patient because the unit is very much worth the stay!!

This condo was impressively clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed spending time with family, cooking meals, doing laundry, and making use of the fully stocked beach closet. However, the location presented some challenges. The pool was murky and overcrowded, making it difficult to find a spot for our things, which was not ideal for families with young children. The elevator was slow and poorly ventilated, which was a concern since two of our kids have asthma. Parking was also a hassle, especially with larger vehicles. I recommend adding curtains in the living area and reducing breakable decor for families with little ones. The check-in process was a bit complex, but the host was very knowledgeable and helpful. If we had been just adults traveling during off-peak times, this could have been a five-star experience. Unfortunately, the issues with the pool, parking, and elevator significantly affected our stay as families with young children.

I am so sorry that the pool was not up to standards while you were there. this is not a normal circumstance. I have been assured that it was the result of a pool closure due to another patron and sanitary protocols had to be followed which made the pool off balance with the extra sanitization. Parking limitations are also clearly addressed in our rental agreement which was sent to you well within the cancellation period. The check in process is controlled by the COA and of 709 owners, this is the first complaint that we have heard. Overall it seems as though the condo itself however went above and beyond your expectations and it's unfortunate that your rating reflects the complex versus the care and service of our hospitality. I am unsure what we can do to have earned a better rating since your only complaints are with circumstances beyond our control.

*Location of unitThis was a corner unit with a private entrance. We were very impressed with this room location in the building. We loved the views afforded us from the wrap around balcony. Having a private entrance meant that we didn't have foot traffic outside of a bedroom. * Layout The primary suite and one other bedroom had ocean views. Enjoyed that there was a true 3rd bedroom with a queen over queen bunk bed that had access to a full bathroom directly from room.*SuppliesAppreciated that the unit was very well-stocked with all of our most crucial needs upon arrival. Enjoyed having a belgian waffle iron and a high quality Ninja blender.Appreciated having the use of beach towels. There were many supplies that we did not use because we drove but for those flying in or limited vehicle space and especially with children - this is a great unit to book.* Parking Appreciated having 2 reserved parking spots. Just be forewarned that the parking lot overall has some very tight spaces. *OverallThis unit was well-appointed with nice well-placed furnishings and an updated kitchen.We traveled in September and thankfully the property itself was not overcrowded and elevator wait times were not bad during the weekdays. Appreciated the host's recommendations on how to navigate property even concerning best elevators to use. We would definitely return and recommend to others!

nice condo horrible complex

The condo was very nice and clean and had everything we needed for the sty and then some. The owner of the unit was great to work with and was very responsive! The facility where the condo is located is horrible. you have to wait 30 minutes or more for an elevator and then we you got one you may had to go down before you could go up. There was never a time when all the elevators were working. We tried them all. The security at the unit was like you were in prison. So, in other wards when you were in the unit it was great but outside of it is horrible.

I’m sorry that this experience overshadowed your vacation so much that we could not earn a five star review because of things that are largely out of our control and not about our condo specifically. Elevator issues have been addressed and repaired. During busy season there are limits to their capacity and other patrons overloading them with beach gear, holding elevators for their family and friends, etc. Detaining the elevators is now a fineable offense with our COA. Security has been retrained/replaced/enhanced. Additionally, there will be waitstaff around the pool this season to help alleviate these issues.

We created Sunset Memories!!!!

The condo was great!!!! Even better in person than listed. Property owner was fast to respond and very helpful. The condo is beautifully decorated, amazing views from the wrap around balcony. They provided so many extras that were greatly appreciated. Things like two folding beach chairs, portable coolers, and extra beach towels provided by the owners, typical spices and commonly needed items like paper towels, aluminum foil, zip locks, TP, etc were provided and much appreciated. Shores of Panama is a very large complex with an amazing pool area, tiki bar with wonderful bar tenders and nightly live entertainment. Because of the size of the building (as others have noted) expect delays in getting an elevator, especially during peak times like check in and dinner time. Planning ahead and avoiding peak times helped. We were there the first week of August which was still peak season and the beach directly in front of the condo was very crowded which we easily avoided by walking a little further down the beach to plant ourselves in the beautiful white sand. The parking garage has 12 floors and is tight to navigate through, but thankfully there are two parking spots included with the condo. We found the one on the 12th floor of the garage to be the easiest to access. Great owners, beautiful condo, great views from the 20th floor, right on the amazing white sand beach. Thanks for the memories!!!!

Shores of Panama

Had a great time and loved the condo and pool. Although the check in process and parking were a nightmare!!! The staff was unfriendly and had no knowledge of the check in / parking process, which could have made things much easier. Overall we had a great time!!!!!

My apologies. This unfortunately was during a complete changeover to a new process with new staff. The situation has drastically improved since the COA has taken over this process and hired and trained new staff.
