Gorgeous and High end 4 bedroom plus bonus (sleeping) loft home. Located in a prime gated community, sleeps 12. Sleeping cots available if needed. The home has a Tropical landscaped yard, fantastic ocean view from both lanais, central A/C, plunge pool with a water feature, top appliances (sub zero),granite kitchen, beautiful spacious bedrooms, fabulous artwork and only a few steps to Magic Sands Beach. Close to town, restaurants and shopping. Family amenities - a variety of beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and boogie boards, There are also board games, boce ball, volleyball, ping pong table and outside BBQ for family time. Watch whales from the lanai in the spring and dolphins on the shoreline. The sunsets are spectacular and perfect after a day of island adventure. Each bedroom has on-suite full bathrooms. The Master bathroom has a relaxing corner jetted tub to relax after a day in the sun. Each room has a TV and local cable. The family room has a decorative (not playable) baby grand piano, a Bluetooth system to play your favorite music as you enjoy the fully stocked gourmet kitchen.

Everything was even nicer than described. Good location, short walk to magic sands beach, steps to waves and tide pools. House had everything we could ask for; endless towels, sheets, supplies and a fully equipped induction stove kitchen. Two (!) washer dryers, 4ft by 15 ft pool and spacious bedroom. Son list his glasses n the surf, host helped us with deliof new ones from mainland. Hope to come back next year.

Our family had an amazing vacation in this beautiful well equipped home! Each bedroom has a wall of windows and an en suite full bathroom. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and I think we used it all. The home supports gathering, and we appreciated the large dining room table, used the grill for everything from hamburgers to fresh seafood, meandered to the rocky beach along the path, and spent hours in the early morning on the front porch. While the house is close to Magic Sands Beach, that particular beach is not family friendly if you like to play in the water; however, they have an amazing restaurant next door with incredible food. We rented to large SUVs and took day trips around the island, finding new beaches every day where we could play in the water, visited several black sand beaches explored Hilo, saw multiple waterfalls, walked to the green sand beach, and even experienced the lava eruption at Volcano National Park. All of these day trips were easy to manage from the house. We ate fresh and local food every day and settled in for games and conversations in the evenings. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! It was a week of lifelong memories, thank you!

Perfect Family Trip!

We had a perfect getaway staying here. 6 nights, 12 people, grandparents, friends and our kids gathered for a birthday getaway!Our host Anne was wonderful and got us oriented. The house is amazing and private, with our own little walkway to the ocean for sunset drinks. We had easy walk to Magic Sands Beach, and nice drives to beaches and snorkeling spots. It was a two hour drive to see the volcano erupting, and 1.25 hours to the top of Mauna Kea for stargazing. House was fully accommodating with extra bathrooms and all the supplies you’d need. Would totally do this trip again!

Hard to beat

Our group of 10 loved our stay at the Ke-Alohi Kai house. It was walkable to Magic Sands beach, immaculately cleaned, and well-stocked. All elements appeared to be well cared for, and everything including the A/C worked well. Hosts had thought of everything - beach chairs, ample linens, and even some boogie boards. Plenty of space for both relaxing and eating, but also plenty of separate spaces for everyone to feel like they could retreat when they didn’t want to socialize. Gated community made for a very safe and comfortable stay, and communication from Anne the property manager was great. Would definitely stay again.

Great house!

Our time in Hawaii was great! The house was as expected, plenty of space, comfortable beds and great location. Our only issue was the A/C wasn’t working properly in some of the rooms but the property manager was easy to get in touch with and she was able to bring us a few more fans and it solved the problem.
