Excellent Location in Paradise

My whole family loved our stay here. The back porch view of the ocean was so peaceful. I loved enjoying this morning view with my coffee while listening to waves crashing.We were very excited to see whales on our first morning! Even saw a whale tail as it descended.

Beaches, Whales, and Eruptions on the Big Island!

We had a great time at a great location. Morning coffee on the upper balcony gave us views of outriggers, surfers, and Humpback Whales! Sandra gave us great suggestions on her favorite beaches, markets, eateries, coffee plantations, etc. We toured/snorkeled all around the island and got to see the Kilauea volcano erupting (Episode 9 started earlier in the day of our visit!).

Incredible home

The photos don’t do the property justice. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we could ever need. There is great indoor and outdoor space and plenty of beach supplies to make our stay more incredible. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely and relaxing

The house is wonderful. Good sized kitchen, big pool, comfy beds, nice bathrooms. We spent most of our time outside in the lanai outside the main level. We had a problem with one of the sliders. Sarah sent handyman Juan to fix it in a timely manner. We used the used gas grill once. Worked good. No problems. The pool and spa was great. We would come back again except for one thing. My husband is pushing 80, it was hard with all the steps. He made do and was careful. And thank you for the chocolate macadamia nuts. A welcome treat. Beautiful ocean view. Also, the neighborhood is nice with close shopping.

Wonderful Place

We loved our stay. The home is very comfortable and homey. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen for all the meals we prepared for our group of 8. The beach equipment was nice to have for our day at the beach. The view can't be beat. We would definitely stay here again.

Great views

Very relaxing for a post wedding family getaway. Path down to water next to the house. Plenty of privacy for the 4 of us and a great room to be together for sunset.

I am a long time resident of Hawaii, a Pediatrician, with a love for the tropics, Paddling and all that Hawaii has to offer. I moved to Connecticut so my girls could go to better schools and I hope to retire in Kona some day in my empty nest years.

This property is ideally suited for living a Tropical Lifestyle as well as being close to medical facilities, fine restaurants, shopping and lots of water activities. From here you can take long beautiful walks by the water, walk to a Farmers Market, to the movies or to go Golfing.

What makes this property unique

As soon as you walk through the front door you will see why I fell in love with this house. The ocean breeze, the warm balmy nights, the proximity to fun, food and frolicking all caught my fancy and I had to buy it. This was 25 years ago .... you might say, it's a keeper.
