My house has a history. It was donated by the Americans to the city of Caen during the reconstruction effort (following the 1944 D-Day landings). It’s ideally located: close to the city centre (Abbaye aux Hommes – Caen City Hall), as well as the Peace Memorial, in a quiet area right next to shops, public transport, and quick access routes to the D-Day beaches or to Bayeux, Cabourg, Deauville, and Trouville…

You’ll have access to a separate entrance, 3 private bedrooms, a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, a bathroom, and, of course, an enclosed garden with trees...

It does sometimes rain in Normandy...
A library full of books is available for you to enjoy during your stay. Don’t forget to bring your DVDs—there’s a DVD player in the bedroom!
For grilling and barbecuing, please bring your own charcoal ; )
