It is best known for its beautiful fine-sand beach and its history tied to the Allied landings during World War II.<br><br>As for activities, Asnelles Beach is a popular spot for swimming, relaxing, and water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. Visitors can enjoy the calm waters and sandy shores for walking, swimming, or simply relaxing.<br><br>The history of the Allied landings is also very much alive in Asnelles. You can visit the America Gold Beach Museum to learn more about the events that took place on this beach on June 6, 1944. The museum displays artefacts and equipment used by the soldiers during the landings.<br><br>As for local businesses, Asnelles offers a few options to meet the needs of visitors and residents alike.
