We spent 2 nights at this little slice of heaven for my mother’s 70th birthday . We had a small group of us stay the 2 nights and some extra friends/ family visit one of the days to celebrate . Even with rainy weather we had such a great time! The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves , including an array of games! The property was beautiful and easy to find . We found a lovely coffee shop in downtown Fryeburg that had delicious coffee , bagels, and pastries . Would highly recommend! We hope to visit again and enjoy the kayaks. Thank you!
We had an excellent week, check in process was easy, had a couple issues and Peter was right there to answer. The family had a great time on the water and made friends with some ducklings. Would recommend this home..
The cottage was exactly as shown on pictures, maybe even better. Very well stocked kitchen with lots of pits, pans, utensils. Home was very clean upon arrival and having clean linens and towels was very nice. The water was nice and clear in front of the home. Would definitely return! Owner was extremely responsive to one minor issue that came up.
My girl friends and I had such a wonderful time together. The views around you are beautiful. Such a cute town just down the road. We loved dinners on the deck, grilling and watching the sunset. Good fishing in the area as well. The kayaking is so much fun, you are able to paddle around and soak up the gorgeous view. Highly recommend staying in this home.
We had a great weekend away. The place was much more then we expected. Had everything we needed for cooking, indoor or out. Very comfortable. Loved kayaking around the pond and sitting by the fire. Looking forward to doing it again next year hooefully!!!

About the host
Hosted by Peter Andromalos
My wife Lisa and I purchased this home in 2021. We fell in love with the property the minute we saw it. Loving all things outdoors and appreciating the splendor and beauty of nature, we quickly realized this was our dream lake cabin. We are a family of four originally from Rhode Island, but moved to Maine in 2017 for our careers. Although we have just purchased this house, we are experienced hosts having earned a 5 out of 5 on other sites. Lisa and I are thrilled to host you and work hard to earn and maintain a high rating.
Why they chose this property
It has it all! Mountains and lakes. You will feel the tranquility of nature, but never feel that you are "roughing" it in this modern and clean cabin. It was recently renovated and has everything you'll need for your stay. This house and area has it all. Recent guests from Boston said, "we are never staying anywhere else when we come to Maine!". Come see why!
What makes this property unique
Cozy, cozy, cozy! Once you visit, you will feel instantly relaxed. The water is so close that when you enter our cabin, you will see the lake and it will almost seem like you are on a boat! Speaking of which, our private dock can accommodate pontoon and other boats up to 25-feet long.. The lake has a sandy bottom right near our house. Are you always on the go? Not getting sleep with everything life throws your way? Our place is quiet and with our lined and room darkening curtains along with our comfy beds, you'll get the best night's rest you've had in years! Wake up to loons and sip your coffee from our deck as you watch the sun rise over the beautiful lake.
