We very much enjoyed our stay in this very clean, well equipped, well situated, charming house with its beautiful view of the beach and the village. Veules les Roses is a great base to explore this part of Normandy and we had a great day in Rouen and a couple of surfing/ skimming trips to Pourville where you can hire boards. All in all a great success and we would highly recommend both this house and the village to others.

Magnifique maison vue mer incroyable!

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable, accueillis par Sylvie, très agréable et disponible en cas de besoin. Nous avons découvert une maison extrêmement propre, bien équipée et très joliment meublée. Mais alors, concernant la vue, c'est incroyable, on voit la mer et les falaises de toutes les pièces, et on l'entend quand on sort sur la gigantesque terrasse. l'accès mer se fait d'ailleurs par un petit chemin dans le sous bois en trois minutes, comme pour les commerces, et c'est très agréable de ne pas avoir à se servir de la voiture. On trouve dans le village une épicerie, une boulangerie, une pharmacie, plein de restaurants, et même un cinéma! La maison se situe dans une résidence sans circulation de voitures et est donc très calme. Nous y retournerons car Veules les roses et les alentours sont vraiment charmants, et ce séjour était parfait.

Vielversprechend, aber auch enttäuschend

Hübsch dekoriertes Haus mit schönem Blick auf Klippen und Meer, angenehm großzügigem Wohn- und Essbereich, aber Mängeln im sanitären Bereich. Die Angabe "zwei Badezimmer", für uns bei der Wahl des Hauses durchaus von Bedeutung, entspricht nicht den Tatsachen. Die einzige Dusche befindet sich in einem der Schlafzimmer hinter einem Vorhang, nebst einem kleinen Waschbecken, an das man nur herankommen kann, wenn man in der Duschwanne steht. Das eine "echte" Badezimmer ist sehr klein, das Waschbecken sehr unpraktisch, die Wanne unter der Dachschräge, für Großgewachsene nur mit Problemen zu nutzen. Die Toiletten befinden sich in kleinen Räumen ohne Fenster oder Gelegenheit sich die Hände zu waschen. Weitere Kritikpunkte: Kurz vor unserem Aufenthalt wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir 100 € cash an die Zugehfrau entrichten sollten. Die Spülmaschine lief, heizte aber nicht auf und reinigte daher nicht. In der Badewanne floss das Wasser nur sehr langsam ab, beides war wohl bekannt, war aber nicht behoben worden. Insgeamt suggerieren Präsentation und Preis durchaus erwartbare Standards, die leider nicht gegeben sind.

Nous sommes navrés de lire ce commentaire qui fait état de détails surprenants et jamais constatés. L’eau s’écoule dans les lavabos et la baignoire normalement. Sauf si c’est bouché, mais ce n’est pas le cas et vous le le signalez pas. Vous avez été le premier locataire à vous plaindre du lave-vaisselle : il aurait été judicieux et bon esprit de nous l’indiquer afin que nous le constations et que nous le remplacions. Ce que nous allons faire. La baignoire de la salle de bain fait 1m80. Il n’y a pas plus long en France. La douche italienne dans la chambre fait 1m60 de long, elle est tellement spacieuse que nous y avons mis un lavabo d’appoint. Et il y a dans la chambre concernée un miroir de 2 mètres. L’annonce comporte une cinquantaine de photos qui permettent de bien voir la maison. Elles sont tout à fait conforme à l’existant : c’est la force de cette annonce. Nous sommes heureux que la vue vous ai plu, étant donné que c’est la plus belle vue de tout le village.

Hübsch renoviertes Haus mit tollem Blick und schöner Terrasse. Wohnzimmer sehr schön und großzügig. Ausstattung u.a. im Sanitärbereich nur befriedigend. Waschbecken z.B. viel zu hoch. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt leider nicht. Hausbetreuung spricht nur französisch.

Der Preis für eine Nacht liegt völlig im Rahmen des Durchschnittspreises in Veules les Roses, bietet hier aber zusätzlich den schönsten Blick auf das Dorf, die Klippen und das Meer. In Ihrem Fall war es vielleicht die Kategorie der Villa (130 m2 und 3 Schlafzimmer), was weder an Ihre Konfiguration (1 Paar) noch an das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis angepasst war. Superbe séjour du 01- 08 juin 2024

Nous avons passé une semaine superbe dans cette belle maison aménagée avec beaucoup de goût ... une cité très calme ... une grande terrasse d'où on peut voir la mer...la plage est accessible par un chemin le près de la maison... La maison correspond à ce qui est décrit sur le site... A recommander absolument pour passer des vacances magnifiques.. Brigitte, Armand, Romain, Pascale
