We had a great week long stay at this location. House was comfortable and exactly as described. Perfect location and we were able to easily get into downtown Seattle and many surrounding areas. Day trip to hike Mt. Rainier was breath taking. Excellent location that we would highly recommend.
The location was a great location near a city activity park and also a city nature park with trail. The home was clean, convenient and it felt private, secure and safe.
Super private and perfect for a group of 6 to 8. The beds are comfortable the kitchen is well stocked. My only suggestion is the linens. Get rid of those flannel ish sheets and provide more towels and wash cloths. 1 seems a bit ridiculous for a house for 8. Extra blankets would be awesome. I would definitely stay again
My husband and I, our two foster sons, my mother-in-law and her sister, and our oldest son and his wife met in Seattle to spend a few days and go to a couple of Mariner’s games. This was the perfect rental for our visit.
The location is great - not too far from downtown or the airport and there’s a Safeway a short walk or quick drive away.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and drawers and cupboards were labeled so that finding things and putting them away was easy.
The host was very responsive when we reached out, and we would definitely stay here again.
This location is amazing, with an incredible variety of nearby amenities. You're close to a grocery store, restaurants, and a mall. If you're looking for outdoor activities, there's a walking trail, a children's park, pickleball courts, and even Lake Washington just a short distance away. The unit itself is equipped with a washer and dryer, and we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet they were, which made sleeping nearby easy. The security was also great, with an automated door lock, a pole for the sliding door in the basement, and a locked gate for the property.Unfortunately, our experience was marred by some cleanliness issues. We found cobwebs throughout the space, and the downstairs bedroom was particularly dusty and dirty. There were also noticeable stains on the mattress and walls, dirty drawers, and dead bugs on the windowsills.Another issue was the "central AC," which only seemed to cool the main floor. The basement was noticeably warmer, although a fan was provided and did help to make it more comfortable.Overall, despite the issues with cleanliness and the AC, we did enjoy our stay due to the location.
Cute house in quiet area code to airport and downtown Seattle
The house met all our needs. Close to everything but in a quieter neighborhood. The park nearby with hiking was nice. Great security system. Kitchen was well stocked. Were missing a few serving utensil items which would have been nice. Salad tongs, pasta server. Only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom so had to run out and buy more. The upstairs balcony is a little exposed with the ball field right there. It would have been nice to have been able to sit outside on the balcony with some privacy. Property manager responded quickly when we messaged about internet being out. They continued to follow up with us. Overall great experience and we would definitely recommend.
Amazing? No, but reasonably comfortable for the price
A 5-star property is one that the owners clearly stay in themselves on occasion, in my opinion. Living at the property occasionally allows an owner to notice that there are not enough towels for their guests to avoid having to do laundry, that the housecleaners are never cleaning the sliding glass door and patio off the downstairs bedroom, that the furnishings need to be comfortable as well as inexpensive, that the lack of a trash can . in the laundry room or of any full-length mirrors is inconvenient, that the landscaper responsible for maintaining the front lawn and borders is completely missing in action, etc.
On the plus side, which is considerable, the property is mostly clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the landlord is very quick to respond to inquiries. This property is not at the top of the price range and does not purport to be of Premier Host quality, and is a fair value for the price charged. With only a bit more landlord involvement and attentiveness, it could easily be a top quality rental.
This beautiful house is very comfortable and well appointed, with views of Lake Washington and easy access to both downtown and the airport. We really enjoyed our stay!

Luckily we used the home to mainly sleep. Has 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms that’s convenient, the home is upgraded and beautiful however The kitchen sink was very smelly, and so was the fridge ,the walls were dirty, no master bedroom, pillows were flat! The entrance was full of spiders webs and lawn was outgrown.
Such a beautiful home to come back to after exploring Seattle. We had everything we needed and the grocery store was near by. The little stream through the front yard and the little hike nearby were nice treats! Communication was very open between the owners. Would definitely stay here again.
I live in South Seattle and rented this house for my family visiting us from out of town. Our apartment in Columbia City is too small and not accessible for my mom, who uses a cane and specifically came to meet my toddler and new baby. The Rainier View house was great for my mom, who could stay on the main level, and my sister and her 11-year-old son to stay in the other rooms. There are only a few stairs leading into the house but the main level, the bedroom and bathroom were flat and level for my mom to walk room-to-room without problem, and she sat on the bench on the front porch to watch the kids play in the yard. The rest of us had a great time playing at Lakeridge Park with a newly-remodeled playground, which the house backs up to, and hiking the “Dead Horse Canyon” trail through a lovely, forested ravine. The trailhead is a short walk down the street from the house. The house was a 10-minute, easy drive to our apartment in Columbia City and very easy to get to and from the airport. We really enjoyed our stay, it fit our needs perfectly, and would love to come again!
The space was excellent, location was perfect, and property manager was very responsive. I liked the extra effort they put in to make the property private and cozy.
The property was beautiful and worked perfectly for us. Located 20ish minutes south of downtown Seattle, it was a great launchpad for our day trips around Washington and for a more low key day, hanging out at the house. Really great place and responsive host.
We loved this property! Beautiful area and close to Seattle.
Checking in was easy and we had everything we needed.
