Lake Front Deep water home with private dock. The property is a secluded house "Away from it all." Well maintained, bright, cheery, home with vaulted ceiling, large lot on Great Creek. The dock has Excellent sun exposure. The design of the dock extends far into the lake providing all day sun.

2 Adult and 2 Kid kayaks are provided for guest use.
Located only 4 miles from I-85 Exit 4. Beautiful wide creek is great for water skiing, jet skiing, fishing and just cruising in your boat (rental boats located nearby) and access to main lake just minutes away. House has deck with umbrella table, chairs and charcoal grill.

Great get away

Great place to stay. Was there Mon-Thurs and there was little traffic in the canal. Fishing, jetski, kayaking was all great at this location.

The house is recently renovated, clean and well appointed with nice decor. The neighbors are close but there is a wooded barrier that makes it feel secluded. The fire pit is a fantastic amenity. The dock had a lovely expansive view. It was too cold for swimming but looked like that would be a fantastic option during the summer.

Don't rent this nasty house. You're better off sleeping in your car at a rest stop. Inexcusibly dirty. Had to let our 3yo use the portapotty we keep in the car for her til we could go out and buy cleaning supplies. Toilets, sinks, kitchen, showers, deck, kitchen floor...all looked like a frat house. Host offered a small refund and a handful of excuses (New cleaning service, beginning of rental season, I've been busy, etc.) Also pointed out that he's been doing this for 17 years...I would think he'd be better at it. The offered refund didn't even cover cleaning fees and the supplies we bought...not to mention inconvenience and labor to clean his 'modern' home for him.Anyway, the requested refund was not about a dollar amount. I wouldn't be renting a vacation home if I couldn't afford it. We were just giving the owner a chance to be more respectful than renting us a run down dirty shack and charging us a premium rate. He offered another insult with the low refund. So he can keep it. I'll never rent from him again. BTW, thanks for ruining my wife's 40th birthday weekend. You are a disgrace as a host.

That was just so funny reading that review out loud to my family😅 The timing couldn’t have been any better because we are all currently here at the lake house celebrating my mothers 78th birthday. Let’s back up…so this guest checks into our house and instantly starts texting me with issues she’s having on the cleanliness on the house and wanted a 50%! refund, yet wouldn’t text any photos I had just spent the previous 6 days at the house prepping for the upcoming rental season. Power washing,Tree trimming, yard work ect. The house was Spring Cleaned (Deep Cleaned) in March. When I left the house 2 days before this guest arrival, I left it clean, in addition,had the housekeeper come behind me I was very confused when she started texting about cleanliness. I explained to her “I’m sorry, I can refund your cleaning fees, but it won’t be 50% off your entire stay I informed her VRBO offers a “Book with Confidence” program where if you are not satisfied with your house upon check in, they will move you to a comparable house,yet they stayed the entire time. When I finally saw the photos sent to VRBO Pictures were: *A pillow with a drop of nail polish *Nightstand with a small paint chip missing *Back Door (freshly power washed *A color sample I tested recently on a bedroom wall That’s it, there was nothing to do with cleanliness of the house🙄 That comical review did add some fun to our families birthday gathering…Silver Lining:)

My husband, fur baby and I really enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and quiet just like we had hoped. Renting the home was seamless and the host was very accommodating and informative in providing local spots to check out.The home was clean, we did have to use the blower upon arrival because of the fallen leaves on the deck and front steps. Aside from that, very clean and tidy.Great home!

Lake time fun
