Look out from your bedroom across our back meadow to the original stone wall property line in the distance while listening to the wind rustle through our 150+ year old grafted Beech tree.
Recently refreshed with updated decor, a new mattress and more, you'll have access to two TVs, one utilizing Roku and the other Amazon FireTV along with your own streaming credentials. There's space to lounge, to eat, to work, and to sleep.
Built in 1932, we have enjoyed updating the Carriage House and have plans for even more renovations in the future. One of our best friends describes it as "Pilgrim Chic." It's simple, clean, and got all the basics you need. We're excited to welcome you!
We live in the main house. While the two buildings are close, we are committed to maintaining your privacy and ours. We are a fully vaccinated household.
Parking is available in the driveway. Please pull up to the guest parking sign so we can all access the drive. Street parking is unavailable.
We live in the main house, which is close to the Carriage House, and we are glad to answer any questions you may have before or during your stay. If there are any issues, we'll be right there to help resolve them for you.
East Killingly, one of the original 10 villages of Killingly, centered around the Acme Cotton Mill in the 19th century. This community has the best rural life has to offer--from ridge-top orchards (just up the road!) to trails around the mill ponds to watching horses and cattle graze. All the sights and sounds of small town life that people love are here--from kids playing in their yards to roosters welcoming the dawn. We live in the historic village of East Killingly. With homes built from the mid-19th century to today, the lots are tight--like you'd expect from an era before cars!
Please note: Window air conditioning units are provided from May 1 to October 31 only. They are NOT provided from November 1-April 30.

It's a great rural retreat central to so much of what southern New England has to offer! Within an hour you can make it to Providence, Mystic, the casinos, and more. Just over an hour and you're in Hartford, Boston, and beyond.

We're perfect for business travelers visiting Connecticut's Quiet Corner (Killingly and Putnam Industrial parks, and beyond) and great alternative lodging for weddings at local venues across northeastern Connecticut.
A car is a must, as public transportation doesn't service our area. One car per reservation.

His studio abuts the Carriage House, and you may see him going in and out to work on his craft or hear the faint sounds of his creativity. We are sensitive to the needs of our guests and observe quiet hours from 10p-8a. We work to maintain a calm and restful environment for our guests.
