Exactly what we needed! It felt like we had our own cabin at the lake. We kayaked, we swam, we gazed out onto the lake and we might have even dozed a bit in the afternoon sun . Wonderful location, wonderful hosts, wonderful weekend!

Great location and incredible view of the lake. It was wonderful to wake up and drink our morning coffee sitting on a private dock watching the sunrise over the lake. The rental provided an equipped kitchen, a gas grill, firepit, and access to their kayaks and canoe from the private boat dock. It's a secluded cove by the dam and a no-wake zone, so you don't have to worry about boats driving by at full speed creating waves and noise while you are swimming or lounging. The only downside was the number of stairs. It was about 40 stairs from our car to the rental and another 40 stairs from the rental to the boat dock. However, the stairs are well-lit and wide. Just be prepared for a little hike down to the lake. We would definitely stay here again.
