Our stay at the Cliffhanger was wonderful. From the pool to the hammock the place has everything one needs for a fantastic relaxing mountain stay! Michelle was always available and made the process easy. Would love to stay there again sometime!

Cliffhanger is a charming hideaway, located conveniently to inviting destinations like Hendersonville, Asheville and Lake Lure but provides secluded retreat on your return. The pool is wonderful in sunny weather and if it rains, you can enjoy outside sitting on the covered, deck. Michelle is a gracious host, incredibly responsive, and gives excellent recommendations. We had a wonderful time and hope to return!

Cliffhanger was an amazing cabin and so very peaceful. The pool and gardens were beautiful but my absolutely favorite was the wrap around porch and hammock. We were close enough to go into town if we wanted to, but we had everything we needed at the cabin to just enjoy some down time. Michelle was an incredible and attentive host, and we could not have asked for more.We will definitely be back...Wayne & Hope

Enjoyed our stay at the Cliffhanger! Pet-friendly and outdoor oasis! We hiked nearby at Chimney Rock, DuPont State Forest, Bearwallow Mountain Trail and Big Hungry Trail but could not wait to get back to the cabin to relax in hammock and float in pool. Thank you.

We loved everything! Michelle was very quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns. The place is very cozy and comfortable with all that was needed including a dishwasher, large refrigerator, and washer & dryer. The Wi-Fi worked perfect and both of the smart TVs were large and loaded with plenty of free channels. We spent most of our time on the porch watching humming birds during the day and fireflies at night. It was so peaceful and relaxing, with huge couches and a fireplace inside and another out on the porch. We were also fortunate to have a sunny last day to our visit and spent time lounging out by the pool. The jetted tub was a plus and big enough for my wife to share!The home is furnished with a mix of rustic wood, artwork, and modern furnishings.

This was the absolute best cabin we’ve ever stated in!!! Both inside & outside was better than we expected. Besides being beautiful it was super clean and in excellent condition. Michelle was excellent host, very responsive and put great care and thought into her home. Absolutely loved it there!

Great secluded location with great outdoor spaces.

Spent a long weekend with family for my grandsons graduation. It was a great spot to spend the time and be with family. Unique and fun pool, lots of outdoor areas.

We loved the homey secluded cabin feel but had all the modern amenities we needed and plenty of close fun outing. Didn't get to take advantage of the pool but would love to come back and try it. Dogs had plenty of space in the back yard to explore.
