Mountain retreat in the heart of Chattanooga ~ 4 miles to downtown and aquarium! Home on .5 acres nestled on west slope of Missionary Ridge facing downtown. Sleeps 5 guests. Two queen beds and one twin sofa pullout bed. Views of Lookout Mountain from the large elevated back deck with gas firepit and gas grill. Large sunroom for morning coffee, large flat screen TV. free wifi. easy access to downtown and all the fun attractions of Chattanooga. 200 foot driveway, full house with laundry facilities in a quiet, mountainous, leafy area above city halfway up Missionary Ridge with excellent views when trees are leafless.

Duplex style apartments in basement occupied by onsite host who can answer all questions and help with any issues. There are no shared spaces or connections between host and guest living space or outdoor deck areas.

We were not aware of the steps in the back, but you can easily walk around to the front without any trouble! Loved the sunroom. Was not cold enough to use the outdoor pit, but would have loved too. Denny is an awesome host! Very attentive! Would highly recommend this property. Close to everything, but you felt like you were in a treehouse.

The property itself is really nice, and you can tell they have put a lot of work into it. It’s also a convenient, short drive to downtown.Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the cleanliness. The sheets did not look clean, and the towels were small, thin, and stained. The kitchen could also use a thorough deep cleaning, especially the stove.Also, just something to be aware of—the parking is in the back of the property, and the stairs are fairly steep.Overall, it’s a nice property in a good location, but the cleanliness definitely needs more attention.

Great property, beautiful views. Host is responsive and answered right away when we had trouble finding the driveway(around the back of the property, GPS takes you to the front) and the rental space is the upstairs of the home. We really enjoyed the property, beautiful deck, lovely home and close to everything we wanted to do in Chattanooga.

Host was very nice and kind. House was older and they had renovated some. Sheets and towels were clean. The bathroom located in one bedroom smelt of sewer. There were bugs ( dead and alive) around the house. Like stated above, the house was older and was not insulated well. “ Mountain feel” was not super accurate. ln my opinion, for what we paid to stay, it was not worth the money.

Honestly the absolute best part was in the evening chilling on the deck with my family. Since it’s on the second floor you feel like your in a different world with the privacy of the trees and being only minutes from downtown was a huge plus.

The property was clean and plenty of space as we were traveling through. We weren’t able to use the fire pit because we didn’t have a lighter. Note- the usable driveway is on the back side. It took us 30 minutes to figure out where it might be after trying to contact host multiple times and re-reading all the details on VRBO. I had to click into an extra details section for parking but eventually found it.

The place was very cute and cozy but could be a little cleaner. I saw dust balls and a receipt from someone’s else stay. The coffee was old and stale like. The beds were very comfortable. I’m not a fan of where it is located and having to get to it but overall we liked the place but probably won’t stay there again.

It was the upstairs of the house, not the whole house as described. Tenants below smoked and it can be smelled upstairs. Could use a detailed cleaning, hairs found, sticky cabinets and nicotine stained table.

This place is in a great location and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the closeness to everything that is Chattanooga. The only reason we put it at four stars was the smell of smoke that permeated the upstairs from the floor below. The smell was especially strong in the main bathroom for some reason, but moved throughout the rest of the floor. Loved the place other than that issue.
