The Davis apartment is the unit located on the right side of the building as you are facing it. It is within one mile of Downtown Eau Claire's shops, restaurants, and bars. It's also a 10 minute drive to the music festival grounds (Eaux Claires, Blue Ox, Country Jam) and a 5 minute drive to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. This apartment is currently under renovations and will be full of character and amenities including a small concrete patio with a dedicated grill.
This property has a long history and we were determined to keep that history while updating towards a more modern, welcoming look. Constructed in 1881 during the waning years of logging in Eau Claire, the house features a gable front and wing façade and wood frame, characteristic of Folk Victorian architecture. The house maintains its original wood siding and windows, as well as its original decorative porch.
With updated amenities guests will feel right at home. During the summer guests can enjoy a beautiful patio and short walks to local parks.

This is a great little place to stay in Eau Claire. Its close to everything and very cute and cozy. We stayed in Davis and it was perfect. Wish weather would of been better to take advantage of the outdoor back yard. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
This place was perfect for our group! It was adorable, in a great location, and met all our needs. We will definitely consider staying here again when coming to Eau Claire!
I loved everything about this place. Amazing location, plenty of room In the house. Lots of amenities for us inside the house. Would easily stay here again.
We were in Eau Claire for the UWEC family weekend and this property was just what we needed. It was in a great location, easy to get to everything, and was a wonderful way to spend time with our student away from campus. We will be back!
We found the location a pleasant place to stay. It was comfortable with all the right amenities. A great old house redone to perfection. It was off the main street so it quiet and peaceful. Would recommend it to anyone and would stay here again!
Had a lovely visit with my son who goes to college at UWEC. It was our spring break and we enjoyed relaxing in this beautiful home that is close to everything!
My husband & a friend & i stayed in the Davis House during the Eau Claire Jazz Festival. Its a great, convenient location and a lovely property. This is one of the best equipped places we've stayed in. Highly recommend it.
Came for a family wedding. The house was perfect for our stay. Location was close to wedding venue and good local restaurants. Our hosts also accommodated our request for early check in. Would definitely recommend.
Property was well managed. Manager was available even for a quick call when I needed because of my confusion. Even having family in the area, gave good advice about things to do in the area. Would stay again in a “heartbeat. “
We had an excellent stay! The house was very cute, clean and the location was great. The thermostat was locked, which I understand, but it was a bit warm for our liking. Not a big deal, we closed a few vents.
We loved the charm of the house and appreciate how clean and organized it was. We would stay again!!
House was well stocked with plenty of everything you might need. Beds, pillows, and furniture were very comfortable. Nice modern kitchen. The only less than perfect thing was that the upstairs was quite warm, as it was a warm week and there didn't seem to be any air conditioning upstairs.
Back to Eau Claire for Blue Ox Music Festival. This is a great home for two couples, or family with older kids. Nicely redone property. Everything functioned well. Street out front is currently under construction so parking may be limited until that is complete. Spot in alley was great for us and rideshares found us without too much trouble.
Host quickly answered questions, which is always appreciated.
Will definitely keep on our list for future visits to this area of Wisconsin.
Immaculately clean! Lovely patio with umbrella table. Plenty of seating indoors too. Plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen needs a few pots and pans. The few there were had very scratched teflon surfaces. We attended some really nice free concerts in several area parks, so having a couple of the fold up nylon chairs to take to those concerts would have been nice. Pool and pickleball courts were just a 10 minute drive from the house. If you’re traveling with another person, ask them not to flush a toilet while you’re in the shower as the shower will get VERY HOT for a couple of minutes. All in all, we’d stay there again! The landlord was very responsive to our request for repair of the back door and for oven mitts, both of which were very much appreciated as we cooked and used the oven while we stayed there.
We forgot to write in your book! But we had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately, we came for a funeral, but we were overwhelmingly happy with our accommodations
There was plenty room - including luggage racks in the bedrooms which was a nice touch. All the kitchen appliances worked, the air conditioning kept things comfortable. The furniture was comfortable. When we had an issue with the ceiling fan, the property manager was right on it and fixed it while we were out. Overall, we were highly satisfied and would definitely recommend this property, or use it again if we’re ever in the area.
