Great accommodations, scenery, history, and fishing

As we were traveling through Europe by car, we booked this stay last minute. The house was excellent and in a great location so we decided to stay another night. The price for the place is excellent. The local food is great, and there is plenty of history to learn. My son even caught trout from the Ourthe, and there is a very nice angling shop in town. We hope to return with more of the family. I highly recommend this booking.

No instructions were sent as to how to gain entrance to the property - phone calls went to voicemail with no reply to messages left. After knocking on neighbours doors I found a lovely lady who rang the owner. However, we were given the wrong code for the key box by the owner.. Follow up phonecalls went to voicemail even when the lovely neighbour rang again. She then tried with her husband's phone and this was answered and we were then given the correct code. It took us 40 frustrating minutes to get access to the property. Once inside the property was fine but the whole experience was spoilt by terrible communication.

We loved this property in La-Roche-de-Ardennes and wish we booked another night. It is super cute and in a great location. The town is like a storybook and the restaurant The Remorinis is a must! This was our favorite restaurant out of our 4 country travels. We would love to return to La-Roche-de-Ardennes someday.

Nettes grosszügiges Haus in sehr guter Lage

Das Haus liegt am Ortseingang und bittet ordentlich Platz. Bis zum Zentrum sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuss. Es ist gut ausgestattet, einzig Kaffeetrinker die keinen Kaffee aus einer Padmaschine trinken möchten werden eine Kaffeemaschine vermissen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und der Austausch (über die Nachrichtenfunktion) mit den Gastgebern war sehr freundlich, nett und schnell.
