About this property

Fully fenced Yard with Fire Pit!

Open floor plan house with large open living area and two bedrooms: 1 with a queen bed and a built-in desk for working-from-home; and 1 with a twin-over-full bunk bed.1 bathroom. The living room and dining room offer a connected open space, making it feel cozy and spacious at the same time. The full kitchen offers all the tools you need to prepare and enjoy delicious meals and desserts!

The outdoor area has a fire pit and a horseshoe pit for fun with friends or family. BYO firewood. The entire yard is fenced in - great for dogs!

The house is ~1mile to the Royal Gorge Train, downtown Canon City, and trail systems, and 0.5mile from Centennial Park, which has a children's splash pad (June - August), playground, Arkansas River access, tennis courts, duck pond, and a venue for outdoor events.

Nice Relaxing Place

This place is in a very quite part of Canon City. It's less than 5 minutes from Downtown. We enjoyed our stay in the cozy 2 bedroom home.

Great basecamp

This was a nice place for our family to stay for a couple of nights while we explored the area. Everything was as described. It's located in a quiet, working-class part of town within walking or bike riding distance to the river. We enjoyed our stay!

Super close to train access for Royal Gorge and the park. Great yard for dogs and fire in the evening. Everything you need is there! Host responds within seconds!!!!

Pleasant Stay

This home was very comfortable and had a nice large yard. It was pet friendly and clean. Nice location to walk to the park. I enjoyed being able to relax after spending long days outside. Thank you!

This house is close to all attractions. River, train, skyline drive, and Royal Gorge just a few miles away. Beds are comfy. Only issue we had was only 3 washcloths and 4 guest staying for 2 days. Overall great house.

Great Value

Nothing super fancy, but very clean. Bed was very comfortable. A/C and fans worked great, so we were very comfortable. All the kitchen tools and amenities we needed. We didn't bring a pet, but it would be a great place if you do have one. Lots of room in the backyard for pets to roam.

Front fan not working. Remote no good. Bulb out on LR light. Bed in rear BR very low to the ground. If you are old not that easy up and down. One light next to bed does not work. None of these were big issues with us but FYI. A Keurig would be nice

We enjoyed the amenities, outdoor space was nice. Lights that provide security and ability to enjoy the outside space long after sundown, which is 5 o’clock lol. Pots and pans to cook , place was clean. My dog enjoyed and was able to be outside safely for short times unattended. Would recy!

The place was nice and cozy the main thing that needs to change is the mattress in the main room that was a little uncomfortable the rest of the house was great another minor thing is the restroom could be a bit cleaner other than that our stay was great the note book left by the owner was very helpful
