Should not be 4.5 stars and this price

The location was amazing, and if this was a 3-star rated property at a lower price I would be perfectly fine with my stay, however, I feel I need to share my experience with others. The host was very kind and I do believe if I would have complained she would have tried to help, however much was beyond repair. One of the beds caved in the middle so badly to the point where my husband had to sleep on the couch because two people just wasn't possible. A cleaning crew was definitely there so the basics were done, but it was overall not comfortable - the coffee machine still had old grounds in it, the garbages in the garage were filled to the brim, the towels and pillows were truly paper thin, the fireplace stopped working day two, etc. Perhaps this was a good price for Golden I do not know, but I just left disappointed given how much I paid and that I was expecting something 4.5 stars.

Nice house, close to downtown

Only set backs- highway noise Mattress in guest room bedroom upstairs is bad. Dog scat in neighbor yard made backyard unpleasant.

Summer stay in Golden

Comfortable lodgings, well located to easily walk to Clear Creek and Old town Golden. Neighbors were very nice. House was well equipped for our weeklong stay while moving our child to Mines for school.

Issues with home

Overall it was a pleasant stay. Good location and quiet spot. We did have problems with balancing the A/C temperature between the bottom floor and top floor. Never was able to figure A/C out. Gas BBQ not safe. Jets need to be replaced. Wood panel in kitchen sink area fell off due to not being repaired properly prior to our arrival. Smoke alarms were missing batteries or chirping because they needed replacement

nice queit location

Location was quiet. Nice view of the mountains. Plenty of pots and pans to cook anything. Could use a deep spring cleaning. Dusty base boards, few small cobwebs. One of them had a fat spider. The couch was dirty under the seat cushions. Towels and linen were nice and soft. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of closet space and home was spacious. Had enough detergent to do laundry. Close to downtown Golden.

Perfect Vacation location for Colorado fun!

This property was in a great location and a perfect setting for a vacation. The owner was very receptive and responded in a timely manner. The location is close enough to Golden, Red Rocks and so much more.

Awesome house!

The house was perfect for the six of us. You could honestly bring an air mattresses and bring a few more people. It’s in a great location and the view was amazing! Would definitely stay there again.

Spacious, comfortable 3 bedroom in excellent location

This is a spacious home with ample cooking capabilities, comfortable chairs and sofas, and a great location. We had trouble with a broken sofa bed, a non-functional shower water valve, and a rickety outdoor table and hammock. The other amenities were fine. There is 1 king, 2 queens, and they brought in a rollaway in place of the sofa bed, but it sagged so we had to put the mattress on the floor. The malfunctioning water valve was replaced in 3 days (we were there for six).
